I love it because compared to so many other Trump disses, this freestyle was more direct, detailed and unapologetic than almost all of them. He did it without a beat to really get the message across. I think there are tons of people who think mmlp2 was shit especially since it was a sequel to one of the best hiphop albums ever. I don't know who those dudes were standing behind him but it seemed like they were there to give the occasional close up with a stare that illustrates they think what Eminem is saying is deep. It seems like a very ham-fisted and contrived attempt to make the audience think this performance is more profound than it really is. This is a freestyle cypher, which is a group of people that come together and rap, they pick a topic but most of the words are improvised so it's really just speaking in the form of a rap. In hip hop it's seen as a sport, it showcases your range, your lyrical ability, focus versatility and emotion. It's not something from the recording studio, it's all in the moment and most people can't do this even with time to prepare. This BET cypher is held every year and no one knows what the other is coming to say that's why it's a freestyle and the people in the back participated in it, their quiet because they're listening and being respectful because it's a serious topic and if they were hyping him up in the freestyle people would complain about that. Eminem was the only one to his freestyle without any music because he wanted people to listen to his words. It's about the message not the man. You're proving his point about being jaded, you're negatively judging the men in the video without any idea of what a cypher is. You're judging strictly on appearance instead of what's being said.

But when it comes to social programs, I don't think it's the government's job to take care of people unless they are completely unable to take care of themselves. So he's enriching himself and his family. He's given legitimacy to neo-nazi /alt-righters like Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller, and wants to waste $18 billion on a border wall. And we both know that money could be better spent elsewhere

Love these vids dude, glad you're still running this channel. Happy to see Em back but something about the freestyle rubbed me up the wrong way. I agree with some of his points but the Southern accents and hacky characterisations of Trump voters just seems like a socially acceptable version of the same venom he would direct at gay people, women, Moby etc back in the day. Doesn't always feel like it comes from a place of genuine compassion for the country, and I think sometimes his new style of rapping feels a bit counter-productive and like it detracts away from what he's saying. I was blown away by it on Campaign Speech but that was 7 minutes of pure virtuosity, and this one wasn't really. Sometimes it feels like he would achieve more if he just kept it a bit more simple in some ways but I guess that comes down to taste. Also the neckline is A-B-S-U-R-D.

I love it because compared to so many other Trump disses, this freestyle was more direct, detailed and unapologetic than almost all of them. He did it without a beat to really get the message across.

Forgot to add that protestors will ALWAYS protest...it's what they do. Either they are paid to do so (big percentage), or they actually think it makes a difference (when it doesn't). They have a lot of free time on their hands. I didn't vote for Obama and disagree with his politics, but I had zero desire to protest. Also, I didn't have several hours of free time every single day, and during the work week to stand around like a sheep and sound like a broken record while holding sign. You really need to do some research on billionaire George Soros and how much money he shells out for protesting. I bet you would take $15 to $20 and hour and a free lunch to stand around holding a dumb sign all day long, while unemployed, or on welfare and trying to make a few extra bucks under the table. Bill, overcriminalization/mass incarceration that targets the black community (if you look into the motives behind the Nixon administration's law and order shtick & the beginning of the war on the drugs, you'll see this explicitly), a sea of illegal guns due to laughably loose gun laws (if not in the city itself then the surrounding suburbs/state next door, etc.), and the social problems/misery all these issues engender...

But when it comes to social programs, I don't think it's the government's job to take care of people unless they are completely unable to take care of themselves. I believe it's up to all able bodied individuals to improve their owns lives.Most social programs, the way they are deployed today, are methods of control to make you dependent upon the government which some people will manipulate in order to get you to vote one way or another.

Korea, he's destroyed many American norms, his administration is ramping up the war on marijuana, while Simultaneously not doing much for those impacted by the opioid crisis, his trips to his golf course have cost the American taxpayer roughly $50 million dollars last year, And most of that money is going to him. So he's enriching himself and his family. He's given legitimacy to neo-nazi /alt-righters like Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller, and wants to waste $18 billion on a border wall. And we both know that money could be better spent elsewhere
And yes I'm aware he himself hasn't done all this by himself( mainly because he's to incompetent) but these are actions by his administration, and bills he signs into law. So yeah

Happy to see Em back but something about the freestyle rubbed me up the wrong way. I agree with some of his points but the Southern accents and hacky characterisations of Trump voters just seems like a socially acceptable version of the same venom he would direct at gay people, women, Moby etc back in the day. Doesn't always feel like it comes from a place of genuine compassion for the country, and I think sometimes his new style of rapping feels a bit counter-productive and like it detracts away from what he's saying. I was blown away by it on Campaign Speech but that was 7 minutes of pure virtuosity, and this one wasn't really. Sometimes it feels like he would achieve more if he just kept it a bit more simple in some ways but I guess that comes down to taste.
