Two things, first I don’t think the Gold Fire Flower is bad at all because it’s literally the Fire Flower but it gives you coins and the Fire Flower is good so I’m not sure how the gold one is bad. If you use the Gold Flower Fire and shoot it at pipes and if there is Piranha Plant inside, it will kill it. Also the Gold Fire Flower creates a small explosion which can catch enemies in it but don’t quote me on that. The second thing I have to say is that, to count a item a power-up check if it gives you points and if it does than it counts or if it is the opposite than it does not count. Great video though love it 😎😎😎
That’s true while wearing the Goomba mask certain enemies that are capable of noticing you don’t know this you anymore and search lights don’t react to you however it does take away the abilities of a power of you already had like a fire flower or boomerang flower

The boo Mushroom may look weird but it’s very useful. You can fly, turn invisible for a second allowing you to pass through certain walls and read Booish. And unlike the vanish cap which has a time limit, this power up lasts until you take damage or get exposed to light.
The gold flower is the most pointless entry on this list. The coin aspect was just added to fit with the theme of new super Mario Bros two which was collecting coins but if you take away that coin aspect there’s still a lot to this power up to love. For example these fireballs can instant kill the boss enemies which are resistant to fire, not even Bowser himself stands a chance against these golden fireballs. Hell I even saw someone once kill Wendy with a couple golden fireballs while she was spinning in her shell which is supposed to grant her temporary invulnerability. It can even take out metallic or undead enemies who are normally immune to fire such as chain chomp bombs dry bones in FishBones
