Indeed (haven't played as Petey though) Rob and Wiggler are probably some of my favourites. Especially Wiggler with his amazing getting hit animation. It just calm me down going "YEAH LET'S GET PAYBACK AND KILL THAT STUPID (insert character here)". R.O.B. for me was fun since I played him in battle mode, and just did a fun thing which I call the R.O.B. Shop. Basically camp at a item block, put Bananas, Fake Item Boxes etc. in the item block or around it, and just have fun watching the chaos. I just enjoy just sitting in the corner of the map with the pipes and throwing a fake item box on top of the corner and use it as my logo... it was tons of fun.

Well I disagree with a lot of this list so let me begin: 1. Petey parhana (sorry for bad spelling)- this character has been in a few games BUT sunshine was a hot topic at the time so petey parhana was a good idea. Notice how sunshine is less relevant as is petey parhana. 2. R.O.B. - Not much to say other than the fact he actually had some games on the snes and he DID save the video game industry so I see fair to put him in a few games like smash or Mario kart so the legacy of him continues. 3. The babies- Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Baby Wairo actually exist so I see why they would be put in the franchise or have a reason to be in future titles. I’m not sure about baby peach but the bay forks of rosilina and dizzy were just clones for more characters. 4. Birdo- Bowser and other characters also tried to kill mario before what makes birdo different. Plus the Nintendo community loves her so it makes since for her existence in kart titles. Overall good vid but I just have different views on some of ur picks. Keep up the good work :)

Donkey Kong Jr - A great retro rep that isn't just 8 Bit Mario Birdo - A character that has been around for a long time, also they are originally from Mario 2 which is a unique Mario game (since it wasn't really a Mario game at all, being reskinned afer Doki Doki Panic) Rob - A unique character being a toy, but he has surely EARNED his spot as being Iconic, Thanks to Smash and Mario Kart, it's a great rep. Petey Piranha - Sunshine rep, plus a boss in Smash Bros Brawl's Subspace Emissary and Piranha Plant's Final Smash in Ultimate. Totally deserves the love it's given, plus he is swag in Mario Strikers Charged Queen Bee - Honestly the best Rep besides Rosalina, Maybe Lubba could work or... Luma I guess, plus she directly represents the bee ability from galaxy. Wiggler - It's a regular enemy and it's cute, what is there not to like about it? Plus we had regular enemies before it, Koopa, Magikoopa (tho Kamek it's a specific character tho so it doesn't really count), Dry Bones, Shy Guy... Link - oh boy... Where do we start. Have you heard of crossover characters? Yeah such an hard concept to grasp. You know that Link was also in Soulcalibur at one point? Crazy how that works right? Oh oh, do you know where Link and Mario can be both be playable outside of Mario Kart? Since Smash Bros 64. It's almost as if fans like when guest characters get involved. Heck people ask for Kirby, Captain Falcon (after all the F Zero stages in Mario Kart it's only Fair) and Fox McCloud for the same reason. Also Isabelle, Villager, and the Inklings aren't Mario characters too, I guess they shouldn't have been in Mario Kart! Then the roster would be even more "boring"
Also I don't have a strong feeling towards Cat Peach since it's a 3D World Rep (tho why Peach? Maybe to not have 100 Marios I guess lol) and I kinda like Metal Mario since it's a 64 Powerup that got a lot of attention, especially with Metal Mario in Smash Bros Melee And Tanooki Mario is one of the most Iconic Power Ups so yeah. But Yeah, they are basically costumes tho
Also Baby characters are fine, especially Baby Mario and Baby Luigi since they are Yoshi Reps. (Also appearing in Mario & Luigi series) Tho I don't mind people not caring for Baby Rosalina since it's kind of a MK original character, but I find Baby Peach and Daisy kinda cute, but they are still forgettable even if they appear more than Baby Rosalina
Also a good number of these picks appear in just one game, Queen Bee, Rob, Donkey Kong Jr (tho he is in Tour I belive), Wiggler or in just a few games like Petey Piranha. Kinda unfair to judge them badly just because they don't appear every single time like Mario or Bowser.

Indeed (haven't played as Petey though) Rob and Wiggler are probably some of my favourites. Especially Wiggler with his amazing getting hit animation. It just calm me down going "YEAH LET'S GET PAYBACK AND KILL THAT STUPID (insert character here)".
R.O.B. for me was fun since I played him in battle mode, and just did a fun thing which I call the R.O.B. Shop. Basically camp at a item block, put Bananas, Fake Item Boxes etc. in the item block or around it, and just have fun watching the chaos. I just enjoy just sitting in the corner of the map with the pipes and throwing a fake item box on top of the corner and use it as my logo... it was tons of fun.

Well I disagree with a lot of this list so let me begin:
1. Petey parhana (sorry for bad spelling)- this character has been in a few games BUT sunshine was a hot topic at the time so petey parhana was a good idea. Notice how sunshine is less relevant as is petey parhana.
2. R.O.B. - Not much to say other than the fact he actually had some games on the snes and he DID save the video game industry so I see fair to put him in a few games like smash or Mario kart so the legacy of him continues.
3. The babies- Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Baby Wairo actually exist so I see why they would be put in the franchise or have a reason to be in future titles. I’m not sure about baby peach but the bay forks of rosilina and dizzy were just clones for more characters.
4. Birdo- Bowser and other characters also tried to kill mario before what makes birdo different. Plus the Nintendo community loves her so it makes since for her existence in kart titles.

Rob - A unique character being a toy, but he has surely EARNED his spot as being Iconic, Thanks to Smash and Mario Kart, it's a great rep.
Petey Piranha - Sunshine rep, plus a boss in Smash Bros Brawl's Subspace Emissary and Piranha Plant's Final Smash in Ultimate.
Totally deserves the love it's given, plus he is swag in Mario Strikers Charged
Queen Bee - Honestly the best Rep besides Rosalina, Maybe Lubba could work or... Luma I guess,

the bee ability from galaxy.
Wiggler - It's a regular enemy and it's cute, what is there not to like about it? Plus we had regular enemies before it, Koopa, Magikoopa (tho Kamek it's a specific character tho so it doesn't really count), Dry Bones, Shy Guy...

Oh oh, do you know where Link and Mario can be both be playable outside of Mario Kart? Since Smash Bros 64. It's almost as if fans like when guest characters get involved.

Also Isabelle, Villager, and the Inklings aren't Mario characters too, I guess they shouldn't have been in Mario Kart! Then the roster would be even more "boring"
Also I don't have a strong feeling towards Cat Peach since it's a 3D World Rep (tho why Peach? Maybe to not have 100 Marios I guess lol) and I kinda like Metal Mario since it's a 64 Powerup that got a lot of attention, especially with Metal Mario in Smash Bros Melee
And Tanooki Mario is one of the most Iconic Power Ups so yeah.
