You run all of the cameras into to the 360 DVR/ computer that runs it to your head unit via RCA jack. Had to fashion a front camera bracket and drill holes in the side mirrors. It looks factory. I want CarPlay so a bigger screen seems like a upgrade and make the car feel modern again (my car has a 7” screen now), but the VLITE seems to boot faster and I don’t really need the android OS… did you ever consider GROM?

you can still access the old GUI and head over to the EQ that is provided by Lexus in their OS. Plus at 3:24 you can see that it says "EQ" on the second row, third column :)

hey man i accidentally turned on the CVBS setting on the android head unit and now it always has my reverse camera on even when i’m driving. is there any way to return to the normal screen? i am unable to do anything and even use the screen. none of the knob controls are working eitber
Are you using same screen as I am? Try plugging in a usb to your phone and see if that works, if it does then you know the ports work. If nothing connects with the phone, then you know the ports are not connected correctly

Good question, I have not tried a DVD. I have however played a movie off my usb thumb drive while in motion. You can transfer the file over to this android screen's hard drive.
There are some radar detectors that have phone apps that treats it like sonar and all that other cool stuff. Essentially, carplay being activated will then allow the brand specific radar app to appear on that screen.
Have you tried android auto? I ask this as I have the same unit but it is not full screen like apple and wondering if there is a way to put full screen.
I have the Lexion setup. Do you have any issues with Android Auto connecting? I'm having issues where I connect the phone and the screen shows music is playing, but no sound comes out. When I disconnect it from Android Auto the phone connects and music actually plays.
I have an NX 300 2018 installed that kind of screen and the same android OS, So I when i try to click on Nav Icon but the compass not show to the screen. and I try to watch on wheel dashboard also but not show the compass. Could you explain me?
@@ilovepets7766 ooo… youre talking about oem oem. It doesnt work that way. The oem stuff is displayed from the unit with the cd drive. This just adds a android feature which is the screen. The back of the screen is the computer for android aspect.

Thanks. I connected a mini Bluetooth keyboard w/ touchpad and it works great. Another question, has your screen ever shut off from hitting the side panel?
@@thehuangbros yes, through a USB adapter it worked right away. The side panels as in the area on the Driver’s side where the panels come off to take off the center console. Mine seems to be real sensitive to touch and can shut off the screen completely with the radio still able to work.
The retention tabs in the back work but it will still need something applying some tiny pressure to ensure it doesnt rattle. But overall, even without, it doesnt rattle much

click on the lower panel of the mark levinson logo ..exchange the micro sd card with a EU Maps sd-card. that should solve your OEM map probs
That sd card is going to cost just as much as this unit

Connect to just the oem side. The aftermarket side will make it harder to answer calls

It can do android auto. For apple CarPlay, the app is qlink or something similar. Android Auto would be like android reload or something.

Interesting. I have not had that issue. Maybe a wire was not plugged in all the way? The radio removed shouldnt affect the locking mechanism.
How is the mark Levinson sound system on the RC-F ? And does the after market affect the sound quality at all?

Try to pull the screen back and unplug everything. Im not sure it will reset but try that and then go back to settings and set it off

Are you using same screen as I am? Try plugging in a usb to your phone and see if that works, if it does then you know the ports work. If nothing connects with the phone, then you know the ports are not connected correctly
