You are so right, Adele may not have the most octaves but she has a voice that is so amazing..so heavenly in my words, it makes me cry for no reason.
Tara's description of Adele's voice be like: "her voice is like the jacket she's wearing. It's like this velvety, rich, like luxurious, textured, dark, deep, beautiful like sound, that you can like touch." On point I'd say lol

I feel like Adele uses her voice breaking as an effect, to show vulnerability and pain, which is then contrasted by the confidence and control in her voice in the chorus/key change, its a device she uses in many songs

She has a lot of great songs but this one for me is so incredible it evokes nostalgia, in a remarkably beautiful sad and good way at the same time. It's my favorite out of her catalogue of songs. No song yet has surpassed it and I do think there will be. Also, no one else can sing it better than her!

I once read a review of an Adele album that described her songs as songs that would be unremarkable if anyone else sung them.
The instrument she's working with is honestly extraordinary. She doesn't have the world's biggest range, but the way she can articulate the feeling of a lyric is incredible. It's like she's singing directly to you.

I love Angelina, but she sings with her mouth open and still sounding like it’s shut. Adele also sounds like That a but she is clean and forward singing, whilst Angelina sounds more like minor and deep
The best part of Adele is that her normal voice is so north London that if you didn’t know her you would absolutely think she couldn’t sing, then she does that and you’re like oh, oh wow

The thing I love about Adele, there’s 1000 singers on RUclips covering her songs, yet non of them come anywhere close to Adele,’s originals in any form, it’s a testament to the velvet uniqueness of Adele’s voice and personality, no one else can do it it quite like Adele. I remember watching a guy react to the surprise snippet of Hello they released before the official single and album (25) announcement, and the guy said” just the way she said “ I ain’t done -much heallling” , that’s the Adele magic that we love, and all of the thousands of people on RUclips covering Hello, no one sang that lyric “ much healing “ like that, only Adele can do that!
