I love your video infact i have gone through them like so much for me to understand cause am a begginer and I have been doing lots of research and I tried to just build a website using WordPress and. Squarespace but for some reason I get stuck on the way and I don't quite understand how to buy Domaine while in the site please I don't how your going to help me but I need your help am feeling disappointed

@@amritsingh6987 I guess one big principle is that life is "value for value". By that I mean that if you want something (money, wife, status, children, good job, etc.) you must give something of roughly equal value in exchange for what you get. There are no free lunches. Decide on what you want... then you must give value / take action.... then you will get / receive the thing.
I'm not sure I explained it very well. But the general idea is that if I want something like money... I must provide value in exchange for that money.... I must make sure that I "give" and "get"....

Glad to see squarespace adopted the Grid interface similar to Zyro. All website builders need to adopt this.

Very helpful for breaking through the fear of creating a website. Squarespace looks even easier than Weebly. One thing though, please look up the meaning of "robust." You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I feel like this was a great guide when it was published in 2022. SS has already changed enough around that I'm having difficulty following along in 2023 :(
My Squarespace looks much different. There must have been a big update recently. The first time I am told to click EDIT I cannot see anything that looks like this video when you click EDIT.

Great tutorial. I think I am going back to WordPress. I want to insert photos into bodies of text and have a description under each photo. I couldn't get a handle on changing fonts. I am building a travel blog/site.

A few questions, if I may be allowed: how do you build the file of pictures that you are uploading as you are building the website? Are these simply gathered in Windows pictures, for example? Most if not all membership websites have TOS in among their disclaimers. How do you add such information? Can you archive web content in Squarespace? Thank so much for sharing your thoughts.
Hi, Ted. Great question about photos. You can upload photos from your computer. Typically what you see in the library is images that have recently been uploaded. When I am working on a client's site, I upload the images they provide or I source stock photos. I hope this helps. --NC with Katherine Kole Mktg
I would not choose Squarespace just for one reason. I don't see how much it will cost me before I start building it. Pricing should be visible before I start doing anything.

I am trying to make a generic list in a text box but when I hit return the spacing is way too wide between lines. How do I narrow the gap between the lines? I want the text to be right under the previous line but when I hit the return it's like I hit the line twice. Is there a good way to create a general list?

Thanks for the video. I learned a lot. We are a very small town and we don’t have a website. Would like a website to share our town news, plus include a calendar for our monthly food bank. We also want to publish our community center calendar so potential clients can look and see when our center is available to rent. We rent it for community events like birthdays ect…..
If we created a website through Squarespace , what would be your recommendation for a calendar where folks could see the availability and maybe in the future, write their name in for a specific date………

I need to know what kind of benefits the calendar can give if I am traveling to the locations that people book. For example, does it map it for me so that the client can tell if with travel time I can get to their location in time for the time they need. Can client book directly on the calendar? Does the site allow me to send a text or email reminder of the event automatically, etc.
