You are living the dream
Another great adventure Josh!
Already looking forward to your next pub ride…
By the way, I’d say that barking animal was actually a Muntjac Deer, not a fox.. 🦌
New to this channel but well impressed by the professional way these are filmed & edited.
Love the choice of music & , of course the fabulous scenery. Keep it up as I think this channel is one of the best about bike packing on YT. Thanks for posting.
Lovely film, Josh. Chilled-out and the very essence of an English spring.
One of nature's greatest annual gifts. Loved it ❤😊
Nice to see you travel through Goring On Thames, I grow up there and we had a family home there for 40 years. So many happy memories.
Another great video Josh 👍
You certainly take ‘pub crawling’ to a new level 🍺 !!!
Or have we? Micropub anyone! Fantastic trip and film that. Congratulations on such a superb video. In fine weather, there is no finer place on earth than southern England.
Sun is shineing, birds a singing, great views and tranquility, sometimes it all just seems to fall together, cheers josh that was briliant.
you mAKE A COOL ADVENTURE BIKE VIDEO KEEP IT GOING BUDDY!!!!
Great video as usual, amazing ride ❤️🏁🍺🍺
Liking your quirky ideas for bikepacking adventures dude.....keep them coming!
Thanks for another cracking trip so lovely 😊
Great country side video footage, ride safe everyone.
I love watching these adventures with a cup of tea. They’re never long enough though!😉
You could half the playback speed on youtube 😂
Well, I wasn't expecting to see Houghton Regis on here! My old hometown isn't the ideal place for bikepacking through haha! Great video as always
Passed my driving test in bury St Edmunds in 1987, lovely place and close to Thetford forest where I ride a lot, mainly for childhood memories, found a run down camp I built over 40 years ago
Another great adventure! And mate…all those nettles. You’re a brave soul. 😅
Very nice journey. Congratulations!
See you passed through my local trails near Linton ,
Know the pub well , great vlog , keep up the great work
nice to see you managed a quick twiddle on the Moors Valley Singletrack en route! 😆
Enjoyed this Josh. And I share your love of the yellow rapeseed. That was a huge muddy puddle, oh, and good luck with the cyclist’s tan 😂👍 All the best, Sue
Well done mate looking fwd to your visit to cleggy 🚴🍻
I really loved this vlog. Enjoyable and beautiful to watch. Happy for you that you had nice weather for it! 🌞
The weather was so good, first time for everything i guess 😃
Another brilliantly made bikepacking adventure video.. How do you get those drone shots whilst also cycling?
Great stuff mate. Nice to see you back. I like the idea of a haunted pub haha I would say the most haunted woodlands would be good but you've probably stayed in them all already 👊😊
Im going to have to go down the rabbit hole to find all the haunted places now 😂
@KeepSmilingAdventures lol sounds good mate 👻😆
Wish I’d have known you were up here, I live in bury and would have bought you a pint!
Wiltshire is the dog's for a hack. Try and get down to Dorset, Somerset or Wilts most years and yes, I know That Puddle - was there on my last visit at the tail end of a near drought.
Enjoyed that Josh, ended on a cliffhanger! Now I wonder what's next?
🤐
That looks massive if you want the smallest pub on the planet you need to come to Cleethorpes to the 'signal Box inn' Where it is literally standing room only
check back next week 👍😁
Scrolled down for this comment as I've been to the signal box inn, next week should be good too then😊
Absolutly amazing trail. Whats the weight of your full dry setup. I mean the bike all stuff excl food and water? Did you ever weight it?
Another Excellent adventure Josh,
But I'm sorry to say this, i had visions of you getting to that pub and it having a notice on the door saying its closed for refurb.... Well that'll be my luck anyway Lol..
BTW it really amazes me how you plan these rides if you're using the Garmin for navigation..? please one rainy weekend could you vlog how please.?
I did double check, i did have to time it not to arrive on Mondays when they are closed.
I mostly just plot it using komoot nowadays. Sometimes its more of a rough guide to where i want to go, then i adapt it based on how im feeling and what trails are like.
You inspired me to buy a very cheap second hand gravel bike, to add to the collection of unused bikes 😮. I do intend using it though, so thank you
How are the bottles attached to the front forks? I can’t see a bottle cage or any sort of carrier for the bottle at all!
Great video as always
Biggest next; Royal Victoria Pavilion in Ramsgate?
Lol i chose a more direct route an it took me down a main carriage way, which I thought was illegal but apparently completely fine 😮😅
Good to see you back Josh, are you developing a drinking problem visiting all these pubs 😂
Considering I barely ever drink i do seem to keep finding myself in the pub 😂
@AndrewH, he doesn’t have a drinking ‘problem ‘ as he always finds the pub ...🍺😁👍
Looks like you really enjoyed the Bombtrack ,When you swap bike do you just swap the seat post with saddle over ?
Nope they both have their own saddle and seatposts. Both saddles are pro logo and pretty similar. Been riding both for years so im used to them
How did you build that route? Very impressive journey 👏
I just plotted it using komoot
Greene King Ales are not so bad that I would choose a mass produced lager.
good for you
@@KeepSmilingAdventures I was so looking forward to what ale was going to be drunk after all the miles covered :(
i guess you will have to hop on your bike to go try some then :D
Myself and my wife live in Cambridgeshire and are parkrun tourists we will get there eventually. I just hope it is not just Greene King IPA on when I get there.
Did that fox keep you awake al night?
Nah the " hole in the wall" Long Eaton must be smaller?
Smallest pub in Britain? I bet they serve short measures. I’ll get my coat.
@Paul, 🙄 oh dear 🤣👍
Oldest pub next?😂
How do you find call these gravel tracks?what should I be looking for on maps etc as I hate riding on roads…help please!
You can cycle on, Bridal ways, restricted by ways, and Byways. Your best bet is to look at OS maps to find them if you don't know of any near you. Once you find one, you will normally be able to find other that connect them.
Showing my ignorance are there wild animals in these woods.
You need to visit the smallest pub on the planet ! The signal box Cleethorpes !!
I might or might not have continued on to there 🤐
Don't know how you fuel your body for these adventures, with eating such cr*p..cake and pasties..haha!
Nice to see the bomb track out again. Have you changed your Altura front bag, by any chance? Looks very Ortlieb gravel bag like!?
Enjoyed this trip, thanks for taking the time to film it. What's next, Britain's most remote pub..Wales highest and lowest pub..Scotland's highest and lowest pub? How about Britain's oldest pub, or most haunted?
Take care buddy. 😊
That "crap" is literally the fuel. Junk food is the most calorically dense. It's too much for the body only when you are sitting around the house, doing nothing.
Yeah the altura bag broke quite a while back now, its the ortlieb bar roll now.
I tried figuring out the oldest pub but I couldn't find a definitive answer to which one it was. Most haunted could be fun though. Especially if i can stay the night 👻
@@Arrynek01 You keep deluding yourself all you like!
@@KeepSmilingAdventures I've bought the same Altura bag, after watching ur unpacking the bomb track post..I must admit, it does seem small (5 litres). Is the Ortlieb bigger?
@timporter8886 what do you eat when bikepacking?
This is 100% not the smallest pub in the uk.
Don’t get hung up on irrelevant detail. Try to think holistically.
@@merson812 thanks for the advice, invaluable 😉
