Good job showing your apprentice PPE. A lot of old school guys won't wear it but it's important to. No one gets sick the first, second or third time coming across black mould but 20 years down the line when they have a cough that just doesn't go away, they often wonder why. Your body is one of the resources you use when working so it's important to keep it safe.

Great job. It's depressing that in reality, there's an issue with damp or condensation in that property which is causing the mould. Someone will be living there and inhaling the new spores that will develop.

A nice take for a week, good work mate! As a chippy in Australia I know it can be hard to charge what we think we’re worth as customers seem to expect us to be cheaper than plumbers and sparkies despite all the tools and knowledge we have. so always good when you can make some good coin on a job.
I’m fortunately comfortable enough to have the mindset these days that I’d rather have a day off than work for peanuts. Which never happens anyway 😂 I work alone so I always have enough to do!

Well done! Great job. I can't believe the landlord lets out the property with those outdated fittings (as was and the bathroom still is) and I wonder how long all that mould had been there. The landlord wanting like for like is probably to do with the expenses allowable - if replacing a kitchen it should be like to like. However as the existing kitchen was so old they probably could have got away with fitting the nearest modern equivalent and had a more modern layout.

But the construction companies don't want you to know.. Bleach doesn't kill mold all it does is discolour the mold and that's all ... Hope this helps you in the future.

I admire what you're doing. I kinda did the same thing when I was still living in Holland, but there's to many rules and regulations. I see you have to get a plumber and electrician? Now I'm in the US and I am a General Contractor, here I can and do everything, no need to hire sub contractors. I do framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, tiling, flooring, painting, roofing etc. I can build a complete house from the ground up without somebody looking over my shoulders! I prefer new construction and remodeling, although my own house was build in 1790! At least it is still solid and there was no mold anywhere even though it's in the humid NE. I like watching your videos, keep it up!
