When you were drilling, was the 1” piece of pvc pipe come in one long piece or did you have to connect several together to get that long length? Thanks!
i dug one about 5 years ago still going strong but we hit sandstock rock and quartz at 15ft and couldnt go further. we hit water at 7ft. we do run out of water during july-aug so i was thinking of trying again in a different area.
I did one in east Texas as well I added a few inches of metal conduit with teeth cut into a 2” pipe that slid into a 4 inch section of pipe that together was enough to cut through the clay and gravel.
Hook the mud pump up to the well point pipe.

20 foot sections
Question - what was the water source for your mud pump? Thanks

Yes! Get deeper
My area in Kenya has layers of hard rock can work.
Try it
Outstanding thank you
Thanks
Hello do you think we can drink water that deep or we have to go more dw.
Better is deeper. Shallow wells are best for irrigation
How long was your 1" pipe again? I have sand in Michigan.
The well point is 35 feet total
Is the 3” pipe big enough to put in the well point pipe with the 1” mud pump pipe still pumping in it?
I’m using 2” inch mud pump. But 1” pump should still work
Sorry
My q was about the 1” pipe of the mud pump reduction together with the well point pipe?
@@lugo2214 35 feet total
I tried this in east Texas and did not work through the heavy clay 😢
Hard Soil is Tough stuff. I could Cut Through Clay pretty well . Just needed the Teeth on the Pipe
Maybe wait until after a long hard rain to soften the clay

@@theserxtremedays ill try that thanks!
I live in the Conroe area. Shallowest well in my area as listed on the states well map website is 120'. Wonder if this method will work that deep.
