- I've been wanting to put something together ever since I heard John Dreamer's beautiful song 'True Strength' so here it finally is.

I tear up every single freakin time.
After finishing the series so many times, I wanted to play like I've never played. Killing Wrex in ME1, letting some squat members die in ME2 and do the very bad decisions in ME3. But I just couldn't do it. To all the game developers out there, this is how you create amazing characters!
I did a full Renegade run through the series once. 1 was bad, 2 was manageable but 3....I felt like a monster.
Garrus Vakarian I thought that I can do a full renegade but I really can't. There are renegade moments I do but I am always paragon no matter what

Saddest part for me in this one was Mordin's part. I honestly think that if there was one line meant for any character ever made, that was made perfectly for him.

After he dies and replaying the game, hearing him say that line during random conversations tugs at my heartstrings
it reminds me.

I really do miss this story. Andromeda just won't be the same. It could be great. It's dubious but it COULD even be better, but nothing will ever replace this story, or it's value to me. To say it's the greatest game I've ever played would do it a disservice, and might not hold true in perpetuity.
Every year or so, I will read the Kingkiller Chronicle, and The Dark Tower. Every year or so I will binge watch LOST. I will watch Edward Scissorhands, The Princess Bride, The Lord of the Rings (& Hobbit). I have done this my whole life since first experiencing these stories.
Mass Effect is the first and only game trilogy (thus far) I will play again every year or so for the rest of my life.

I freely admit that when Mordin died I cried like a baby, I was really attached to him.
It's ok, I'm sure everyone did. If they said they didn't, they're lying.
First time I played through when that happened, I cried my eyes out. Still hits me when I play through the game.

on my first playthrough he died, it sucked, it was much better on my 2nd walkthrough, im gonna start my 6th full Mass Effect walkthrough once its close to ME4 release
Well, he was hungry, would can blame him? You can't die properly with an empty stomach
This is why I love Mass Effect, you grow to care for your team mates (even the ones who start off as assholes #Jack#, #Zaeed#) and they stand by you from start to finish, if anything happens to them (Like Thane, Mordin, Legion) you actually feel something.
8 years and this is still the best mass effect tribute video ever. Will definitely be watching this before I play mass effect legendary edition.

This is it. The one video that perfectly sums up why this trilogy will always be the most important three games I have ever played.
I hadn't cried from a game or a movie in years, heck basically haven't since I was a kid, but this game. . .
It's special, it makes you feel like that is the best team in the universe, that the friendships are the most important ones you could ever imagine, your character as Shepard has to trust their lives to them, and they never let you down.

It's tributes like this that show that there's a lot more to games. Games can make you feel something in your heart. Teach you morals. Especially with mass effect. Amazing job.

Joined the military back in February, and I'll tell ya, some days are hard as hell. The beginning quotes really hit home for me. Love Mass Effect and your video editing ability. Helped me out a lot today.
You just captured the essence of what Mass Effect is. The true bond between you and your squad. A real band of brothers ready to die for any in the team. Shivers and goosebumps during the whole video. Amazing job!!!!

If you don't develop strong feelings of attachment to any less than 10 of the characters in this game, you're little more than a sociopath undeserving of love.
Shepard, Garrus, Wrex, Liara, Tali. Mordin, Legion, Thane, Grunt. EDI.
How anyone could not love those characters is beyond me.
Secondarily, I can't imagine anyone not loving at least a few of these guys in addition to the 10 above: Joker, Anderson, Miranda, Jack, Samara, Javik, Traynor, Aria. I can see some people getting turned off by some of these characters, either due to lack of depth, or hard to accept personality traits, but not all of them.
I can however understand, most people disliking: Ashley, Jacob, Morinth, Vega.
Liara's my girl, and I love seeing Garrus and Tali, Joker and EDI, as well as Ashley and Vega get together.
Oh but Liaras MY girl :p

The Mass Effect trilogy was the most special gaming experience I've had so just really wanted to share some of the sentiments it left me with by making these tributes.😊

The fact that so many people and unique characters in a span of three games wrex,garrus,jack,thane, and joker I mean it actually felt like you as shepard made not only the best squad of misfits you made a family lets all drink for the ones we lost along the way

Damn it Mordin. WHY!? Every time that line is like a punch in the face, it hurts so much to hear that again.
After the ending - yes the new extended enhanced ending - I was kind of depressed. Not just because it still sucked but also because I missed the Normandy's crew so much it hurt. Asked myself what to play next or what to do after finishing ME3... Turns out watching this video was exactly the right thing to do. Have watched it 20 times or more so far. Thank you for creating this :)

I keep coming back to this video after 2 years, and can't help myself to shed a tear on the Mordin scene.
Wow. Just stumbled across this as I finished the Trilogy (LE) once again for The Who knows how many times. Amazing soundtrack and you really captured the essence of the game. The characters and story writing were just phenomenal and unfortunately developers don’t put the effort into it anymore nowadays. This is and will always be my to go to game at least once a year. What a ride.
No Videogame ever as so a fantastic and awesome Npc development like the Mass Effect Trilogy did.
I love this tribute. The Mass Effect trilogy is one of those game series that isn't just about good gameplay. It actually gets you invested in the story and characters and makes you care what happens to them.

when i hear "Had to be me, someone else might have gotten it wrong." i think of the devs just as much as mordin, and it appears that with andromeda, someone else did get it wrong.
mass effect is one of the very few games thats made me cry like a baby.
i remember beating... heh beating... you dont beat mass effect, you win by getting beat by it. i remember getting to the end of ME3 and just being totaly drained.
i was out of fight, ready for some rest, felt like i needed a bit of shuteye, just like shep... but only one of us woke up after that.

This is a hero. No one under his command questions. Because they know that at the end Shepard WILL WIN. S/He have brought together the strongest force in the galaxy through their will alone. By Shepard, the end was defeated.
He never was defeated he breathes in the last scene when you destroy the Reapers and i still hope, that we will see him in the new part happy together with however S/He chose to be together with so i can say:" he suffered many losses but at the end he was happy and lived a good live with children and wife in the Galaxy which he safed

Despite lackluster ending to ME 3 this remain the best science fiction trilogy in history of video games - when crew of Normandy embodies whole galaxy deciding to stay together against a common threat, when in one voice galaxy declared; "we won't go quietly in to the night". And that's all thanks to best crew in ME universe, crew of SSV Normandy - one of the best crews in history of video games.
Ive only started the mass effect trilogy with the legendary edition and just started the 2nd one, but i am blown away with just how amazing the characters are so well detailed and the emotional deliverance of them is flawless this game has impressed me at every turn and even brought me to tears on occasion and i can definitely see myself replying over and over just to keep having these characters in my life

I'm not a gamer, I'm a mass effectist. I just hope the next mass effect will be as intricate, immersing, emotional, inspiring, influential, captivating, awesome and sexy as the holy trilogy was... I honestly hope those guys from Canada will be true to their fans and not produce a silly spin-off.

Never in my gaming life have I lived and laughed with and cared and cried for a game's characters like the ME crew. The bond that you get to create with your crew in this series is amazing and you get to love each and every one of them (well, except for Kayden, because I always sacrificed him for the hot chick... :D) Big shoutout to my man Garrus, NO video game hero could have a more awesome best friend than that ugly old Turian! But yeah... this music and video are perfect. And I kinda just wanna put down Fallout 4 and start Mass Effect all over again right now. :D

This is my all time favourite video game series. Garrus is my best friend. Tali is my girlfriend. And the restof the crew...valued friends...i love this game so much for making me feel real emotion towards these characters and their struggle against the reapers. This is a truly magnificent work of art.

Two weeks ago I finished ME: LE. Then I stumbled upon a nice "little" three part story called Razor's Edge. I highly recommend all three if you're playing a mostly paragon maleShep interested in a certain shy Quarian engineer. That story line is now my official head cannon and then I stumble upon this video and the feels are that much more powerful now.

You have to appreciate a game that makes you feel on this level. Each squad member felt like a real person
I never played or paid attention to me when it came out over the years and finally my friends got me to play the set back in January. All I had to go on was an awareness of a female krogan was important, something about a clone and that Shepard can't dance. Other then that I knew nothing. It was a damn good ride. And now I'm in my second full playthrough
