I just wanted to share how much this video has captured my feelings about Mass Effect and Jennifer Hale’s performance. She is Shep to me and Mark is the alternate. Her voice brings me hope. She makes you believe that the character can unite these forces against such incredible odds. The most inspiring hero I’ve run into in a long time. As usual, I’m new to a party that’s been going on for ages, but its impact on me has been profound.
Anderson : "You ever wonder how things would've been different. How our lives would be different...if this hadn't happened?" Commander Shepard : "Sure." Anderson : "I never had a family Shepard. Never had children." Shepard : "Have we enough time for that now?" Anderson : "I think that ship has sailed. What about you? Ever think about settling down?" I lost my mother at a young age(Father was a drunk and addict, And with other woman), My mom died when i was 17 and i wish i could have had this conversation with me, it always tears my up! It also gets me in other ways, here, this is what i do for a living: Im dutch and 51, Ex military, at the moment working with addicts that suffer from ptsd. forgive my typing mistakes please! :)
Finished the Legendary Edition yesterday, my first time playing the Mass Effect series. As amazing as this tribute is, not sure why I watched it when all it did was make me bawl like a baby 😂 That last line with Liara, Legion saying good bye, Mordin singing as he saves the Krogan race.. Think it's time to start another playthrough 🙈

This game helped me get through the toughest part of my life. My last relationship was domestically violent and this game... means so much to me.. it helped me in more ways than one.

Yes the game helped me alot aswell, my last relationship completly made me an emotional wreck, it took me around 8 years to get over it somehow. this makes me want to replay the trilogy again... good thing i already started a FemShep/Liara Paragon Vanguard playtrough... time to spend another 120h or more on another OT playtrough
Femshep all the way. Way more real and charismatic than male version. Especially in the final mission where you ship your lover away in normandy, those few lines hit me damn hard everytime.
Absolutely! Back when the game first came out, I did my first run as male shepherd. As I normally would, because well I’m a guy and that’s how I identified. Anyway. On my 2nd run. I’d figured I’d play as femshep and do a evil run, but after the first mission. Jenifer Hale completely won me over. From that point forward, femshep all the way! Also dare I say? I think the story works better with a female lead.
Sad I only found this channel today and not years ago. This as well as all of your videos I've watched after it today are just so damn good. Please never stop creating, your videos are something special
I'm on the final game, nearing half way. I played through the first game casually but took my time to complete everything in 2 and doing the same with 3. this will be my first, proper full playthrough of all three games, with the same Shep. I grew up on this game, but have no memory of playing them all the way through properly like this. this video has made me cry and although I can't wait to complete this series, I'm not ready. Mordin's death made me feel empty, Thane's death made me cry, and I haven't made it to the other inevitable deaths. I'm not ready to break Garrus's heart, either. he, Shep, so many other characters deserve rest. I can't wait to get to the Citadel DLC but I'm dreading what comes after. still, I love this game so much. thank you for this video, it captures the essence of the trilogy beautifully, imo. 🙏
Hopefully you have recovered, I remember the first time I finished the series. I was in a deep depression for about a month. I was just so upset that all these friends I made over the years were now gone and that's good storytelling

Love this!!! I just wished that Tali didn't die in your video. 1:58 Only part I hated but I understand that Tali dying is a consequence of how you could played the game. I finished the ME trilogy 5 times and I enjoyed every second of it. ME was one of the few games where I didn't mind replaying the game the minute I finished it. Your video gave me chills and I cried a little since I really love this series. Hopefully, future ME games and DA games will be as good as the original ME series. I will say that Andromeda wasn't as good as the trilogy but it was still a good game that I played through twice.

I always felt Anderson to be a dad to shepard if u pick the colony or the orphan shepard at the start for backround it fits so well like sheps his adopted daughter or son i love that and there last talk together is so beautiful always makes me cry, Shep is looking so gorjus in this vid to they did a amazing job with this Default shep they added for the remaster.

As far as I know the conversation was cut due to it conflicting with already established ME2 lore. So you didn’t miss any prompts don’t worry :))
