Hello, having the pulse 3D and wanting a present for myself, is it worth buying Pulse elite headset or there is something better in €150 price rating? I use PS5, PC gaming and it is convenient for me to have a 3.5mm input because I have a Soundblaster AE-5 plus card in my PC
Pulse Elite is extremely uncomfortable with PSVR2. Putting it on top of the headset creates a gap in the ear cups and sound like hell. Under the headset and the headset has a hard time staying in location due to the weight pushing down on it. Have to make constant adjustments. Not to mention how the VR headset clamps the ear cups to your ears and in about 30 minutes things get painful. Without the VR, the support strap is like a smooth texture so it slides all over the place when moving your head around. It’s like the support band isn’t tight enough or grippy enough. Everything is lightweight cheap plastic. So all the weight is on the ear cups. Hence the reason they move around so much. Noticing a crackling/popping noise occasionally not to mention 5 drop outs altogether in the audio where it disconnects in 3 hours. I’ve reset the link adapter numerous times and repaired twice. Same issues. But hey, they sound pretty decent. Can’t wear them without constantly adjusting them or being in pain if you’re using the same companies VR headset. Just unbelievable. I really wanted to like these things.
Put your PVSVR2 over your pulse elite. Have your pulse elite on first then slip the PSVR2 over the headset. Fits pretty good, this how I wear it when I’m playing Gran Turismo. Super comfortable.
I had the pulse elite for 1 day and returned it. Here's why: 1 the lack of bass, there's no bass at all only highs and mids. 2 the comfort, they are uncomfortable and don't feel right. 3 the ratteling noise of the earcups, they are to loose. 4 the random disconnecting, they loos connection couple times every hour. 5 the lights on the headset are in the vision of the player. 6 they are not fit good with the psvr2. Save your money and buy another headset!!
For me the competition was Drop + EPOS PC38X for $166.99 on Amazon and Razer Blackshark V2 Pro for edit: $199.99 on Amazon and I don't have a PS5. I still chose the Pulse Elite. Message to Sony: With money problems in the gaming industry right now, please make the full features of the headset configurable with your drivers on PC, and please update the drivers to stay competitive with rival headsets as much as possible. You have great people at Audeze to thank, and I'd like to see both companies win.
Disconnect because put ps link in back usb port because your ps5 slim not usb a port on front and get warm and disconnected 😂😂😂 One of the reasons why I will never pay for Sony slim consoles.
Let’s talk about the constant disconnection issues just like their pulse explorer buds. Or the crackling g/popping noises I would get. Or how they literally slide all over your head due to the fact they use cheap lightweight plastic all over so all the weight is in the ear cups pushing the whole headset down while the head strap has little tension to prevent this. The head strap is also made of some type of slippery smooth material that doesn’t grip your head at all. So this weight plus moving your head around allows them to also move around. They junk. Sent them back and bought a set of clip on wired Koss earphones for my PSVR2. Perfect solution. And $20. SUCKERS!!! 😂

So I ordered them and I'll get them tomorrow on my day off today on the way to work. I will be leaving early to drop my second pair as the disconnecting issue is annoying. If it's a hardware issue, hopefully they fix it. If it ends up being the software issue. They need to fix it really fast. I don't know if you encountered it. But I did a frequent popping sound on one of the ear cups. It all depends what game you're playing I encountered it while I was playing World of Tanks every time I went into sniper mode and I fired from a tank destroyer. I also experienced it in other games that have loud and suspenseful sounds if my third headset doesn't work, then I'll be returning it indefinitely and I will invest in their $300 H9, which I heard they're much better in build quality and have actual noise canceling in the cans themselves.

Also Had a lot of disconnection issues with the headsets Including some people or at least 1 person whose video I. Viewed said he had Crackling sounds on one of the earcups. That's how it like you are crumbling foil paper. I experience that on my last set. This one seems fine for now. I just hope it doesn't Turn on bad like my first one. If not, I will return them and stick to my pulse 3D. Until these get Fixed by Sony, I believe they rushed with the product.
I purchased them and with sound quality there’s not difference from the my H9s, in fact H9s lighter, more comfortable and even have very good noise cancellation
I returned mine to Sony - these are junk. Planar magnetic is not designed to produce bass so there is NO bass with Elite. Treble is way too high. Headstrap doesnt hold it on your head. AI noise cancelling DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED. Hanger mount is cheap junk you have to screw it into something - no nice stand or something useable. LEDs on both sides are constantly in your peripheral vision and they are bright. There are disconnect issues with Explore earbuds and Elite bc this is Sony new blue link proprietary tech. Cannot fine tune volume. NO mixer at all on headset. If you enjoy listening to AM radio these will be a good choice for you. I was skeptical Sony could put out all that they promised in this headset for $150. Much better options under $150 or wait till they go on sale

I exchanged 4 different sets in a week. All had connection issues or fault links. Ended up going back to Astros
