Enjoyed this Mark and the most important thing I got from it is his comments about new readers in philosophy needing to be careful not to start out by diving into the deep end. I've almost finished reading James K.A. Smith's Cultural Liturgies 3-volume set and I have to say I've had a lot of difficulty gleaning helpful information from it simply because I don't have any foundation in philosophical discussions and vocabulary. It's really hard for me to grasp a lot of what he's trying to say - I'm definitely in over my head! I bought a copy of Augustine's Confessions a while back. Think I'll try that next.
