This was perfect timing! I just got my conch pierced today and I love it. Can't wait for it to heal so I can but some gorgeous jewelry to finally complete my right ear!
@@a.o.g1834 It was a quick pinch and a bit of pressure, it was over less than 5 seconds. It didn't take as long as my rook, daith, or tragus really because I think there's less cartilage to push through with the conch. It was exactly the perfect choice to finish up my right ear set up. I would definitely recommend a conch if you are hesitant about others like the rook or daith.
OMG I'm so happy for you love. I'ma get my conch pierced for my 13th in Jan. It'll be my first cartilage. Just skipping the helix and going right to the conch lol. But I have done an emense amount of research. Literally, ask me anything about piercing and I can give u a somewhat clear answer 😂. I wish you the best of luck with the healing process
Congrats! Don't forget to downsize this one when it's time :-) I got my conch done in March of this year and by June/July, my conch started getting an irritation bump on the back bc the bar was too long. Hope it heals beautifully for you 💓
@@HarmonysLatestDesign I won't! I FINALLY found a great piercer in my area, she was efficient, and knowledgeable, so I'm happy I found her. She downsized my tragus as well because when I got it pierced the guy used a hoop but I didn't know any better at the time. But it's all good now! Thanks!
I love all your ear styling videos, it gives me lots of inspiration. I was wondering could you do a couple ear stylings with stretched lobes? Mine are at 20mm and I’m struggling to get an aesthetic I like with them. 🙂❤️
i am thinking about getting a conch :s at the moment i have 2 lobes, tragus and an industrial bar. I also have been thinking about a daith. Would 2lobes ( ring with dangling diamond +huggie), a tragus (cluster daimonds) and industrial (simple titanium bar) look good with conch ring and daith ring? or would it become to crowded/messy looking?
It depends on your anatomy. I've seen cool pictures on the internet of conch+daith+tragus, but my ear is too tiny for that combo. I liked all three so I got a Daith on one ear and tragus and conch on the other
Try them on. It's easy. You can use small stickers or mark you ears where you want your jewelry to be. You'll get an idea of how it will look. (Jan Griffiths).
I got my conch done about 3 months ago. It has a bump on it but I still got a good while until I can even change it but I love it! The bump kinda hurts a little but it SEEMS to be healing pretty well. If I bump it too hard it doesn’t hurt and get sore!!
Hey, i have a quick question, I've been pondering my first proper piercing, and i have very VERY soft cartilage, will that be easier or harder to get through with the needle?
Is all the jewelry push back ? I can't do those very uncomfortable and painful to put through.....I been wanting to buy some gold earrings for my conch but with the screw on back or front piece no luck so far
I just got my outer conch pierced and I am confused on the size my jewelry is suppose to be for when it heals, the piercer said it is a 18g and 1/2 I know the g is the thickness but I am confused because I don't see any jewelry for that size am I reading it wrong?
Black jewelry is so awesome!!! I have quite a few black pieces myself. I'm wearing a black piece in my navel right now, with blue stones. (Jan Griffiths).
I am really researching getting my conch done and now wondering if I should get two at the same time on the same side. Concerned about my earbuds though.
@@TheColombianCowgirl thanks! I definitely appreciate that as I too have smaller ears lol. Actually took out my 2nd and 3rd earring hole to give enough room for stretching my 1st holes so it's good to know that it's possible to get possibly up to 2.
@@The_finestsocialworker yea mostly definitely don’t wanna do that cause every time u hit it ur cause micro tears which just mean u starting the healing process all over
I don’t know if this is bad or innovative, but i asked for a hoop/ring(before i knew you should begin with a stud) and my piercer gave me a septum hoop for my conch, the one with the two balls. please let me know if that was really dumb to do😅😬😞next month will be a year with it so idk if it’s too late i’m asking.
I would get it changed to a stud. It will heal better, since the jewelry won't move around so much. You can go back to a hoop once it's fully healed. (Jan Griffiths).
I was done with a 14g 10mm hope captive bead over a stud I like the hoop look way better then studs when healed switching to a 16g 5/16 Aka 8mm hoops fancy ones I have saved and hopefully getting my septum next month and I no she can use 16g 5/16 or 14g 3/8 or 16g 3/8 hopefully she uses 5/16 size hoop but I'll have to see I asked what she uses and when I come into the money I'll book to get that lol

I ordered the hinged ring n crystal cluster for my conch. Now I just need it to heal so I can switch out the jewelry!

A conch is my next piercing, thinking in about a month or two. Waiting for my tragus to heal a little more. 😁
Got mine Friday with a hoop sliver captive bead lol was gem or colored but hey man it still hurts and so so so painful to clean lol

I really want a conch piercing but my big ol' ears don't have the anatomy for it :-/
U want to a shop n they told u that
Almost everyone has the anatomy for a conch! I have a smaller ear and I was able to get two on the same ear :)
You should have the anatomy. That's a pretty large part of the ear. Did a piercing shop tell you that? If so, get other opinions. (Jan Griffiths).
