Right! That was the first thing I thought 😂 plus, you can take some out and have a different style all the time. You don’t always need to wear jewelry in all holes lol
I initially did too when I was looking to curate my ears but I pierced them all myself and I pretty much did similar to the picture on here but It did look waaaay too much, I thought it would look great but it really didnt, some people could probably pull it off but I did realise it looked far too much on me x
I've planned for months what I wanted my ears to look like. Months! I started getting the piercings this year after our first lockdown lifted and probably wont be done until late next year/early 2022.
So did I. I have 12 piercings on each ear, with no matching pieces. Most of my jewelry is color anodized titanium, either 14 or 16 gauge. All are at least 26 years old or older, except for my left conch, which is 3 months old, and still healing, but doing nicely. It was dermal punched at 4 gauge, to match a 4 gauge hole in my right ear (lobe). I mainly wear labret studs, but have a few hoops---both tragus piercings, and 2 of my helix piercings. I don't really go for diamonds---I prefer colored stones, especially blue sapphires and emeralds (lab created, of course). (Jan Griffiths).
To be fair we have some excellent piercers who do curating services. The oh so iconic @wklp does a curating service at Sacred Gold in London. Got a piercing off her recently, she’s so lovely and the experience was exceptional. A lot of their jewellery is very expensive but for fine jewellery (especially BVLA items) I was not surprised, and I was talked through the price of all jewellery pieces before purchasing anything.
I decided to have seven extra piercings done to my ears from the lobe to the upper cartilage area. It was fine but the last three really did hurt only because they were done by the cartilage. But yes, prepare for the healing time, tge piercer said it would take 2 to 3 weeks for the piercings to fully heal, but that the cartilage would take two months to heal 😢. I was not prepared for what dhe had told me, and expect to take care of the healing process big time! Properly wash your ears and disinfect your ears with rubbing alcohol and or with hydrogen peroxide and with the after-care solution. I was satisfied with the results and turned out I really liked my new piercings after all.
I planned my own ears and just got another piercing after 2 years. lol I got 4 at once two years ago but they were all lobes. This was my first cartilage so I am excited to get the others (much later) 😅😂
Well, the stacks on the DON'T side is actually not quite right. Some people like it chaotic 🤣🤣🤣. No rules in this matter. Just do whatever you want to do
Is it weird to do symmetrical piercings? I want my Helix peirced on both sides, but someone told me that that's weird? Is it a better look on one side? Is it just more common?
I might need to come in and have you guys remove an earring for me soon. I have a push in where I bent the piece of metal a little too much so it's on there pretty good. I dont think I can take it off myself.

I actually like the "don't" ear style on the thumbnail. It's more my style 😭

I just got my lobes done today, and it took about a good 20 min on picking design, style, what I want it to look like in 5yrs, 10yrs and longer.

all three of my cartilage piercings took up to 6 months to fully heal, they would swell up and bleed if I put in rings before that

a lot of people do different piercings on each side, but matching some or all of your piercings is cool too if that's what you want!
Hayyy can I get a Shot out I’ve been watching guys for a long time

I would love my ears to be styled. By Johnny

I hate a really busy look. Looks tacky IMO. Prefer a simple, classic look.
Let’s ❤get married and style my ears. Mimistlist
