1) This DEFINITELY wasn't his first time doing this
2) Had the plane not been fully booked, he would have 100% gotten away with it
He could have gone on the app to check to see if the flight was full before he tried that. He can't be dumb and stupid v😅
Even if checked for seats on the app, IDK how quick it would update so close to departure, or if it would even show the same information at the clerk desk just right up until boarding. Though I guess it would be suspicious to ask the clerk desk if there are any open seats while later having a stolen ticket photo on your phone to scan. All-in-all a very risky gamble and not worth trying to save some time and some money against the potential federal charges, expensive fines, and public shame.
I agree i feel he would have skated if the plane had not been full he could have just eased into an open spot.
1. Not sure.
2. Even if it’s not fully booked, if the rightful owner comes along and shows proof of id, then, he would had still gotten caught.

How did the real passenger let on board even when the system said someone already used her ticket. Shouldn’t that raised a flag to stop and look for the guy who stole on board instead of continuing boarding? The plane should’ve emptied to find who used the ticket. You can’t have two people using the same ticket. That’s a major mistake.
Right, at that point they should have stopped boarding, and checked each passengers ID against the manifest as they deplaned the passengers that already boarded. That is such a glaring security red flag, how they just shrugged their shoulders and let a duplicate on the plane is insane.
@@dmb5libra82 And of course that's why he was hiding in the airplane bathroom.
My guess is they didn’t want to delay the flight and upset passengers. Sure, in an ideal situation the best course of action would’ve been to check everyone’s id’s, one by one. Good one
fun movie
So, basically, he was only caught because the flight was full, he was in the bathroom during everyone else's boarding, and when he returned to "his" seat it was taken (by the correct passenger). Thankfully the flight attendant was the smart one here to get the plane back to the gate. Also, this is a huge advantage to assigned seating. If this were Southwest and the flight wasn't full, nothing would have happened and he took a flight on the wrong plane.
He was looking for ANY OPEN SEAT! How can you not figure this out? He is obviously smarter than you.
Not exactly. Even if the flight wasn’t full, if the rightful passenger shows up and the gate agent noticed that the passenger was already scanned, then, he would still get caught as they will make the rightful passenger show photo id. They won’t simply prevent the rightful passenger from not boarding just cause someone else got a copy of that boarding pass.
All I ask is that you not be so click-baity. Your title literally says "without a ticket" yet he got on the plane using someone else's ticket. That's strictly using a ticket.

Nothing to do with 911. Security is the main entrance at the airport, not at the gate. Everyone who is inside would already gone through the security, he is just as safe as other passengers. this is purely a loophole in the boarding system, not the security system.
Because the 911 "response" was designed by Duh-Bya.

Technically, it is impossible to carry out today. The computer will alert the gate agents when a boarding pass has been scanned twice. At that point it’s a question of what is the airline’s protocol during a situation like this and whether that protocol was followed.
This report leaves out crucial info. Was he photographing the electronic phone boarding pass or paper one? The footage clearly shows him photographing a paper one. It’s seems unbelievable they’d accept a photo of a paper ticket or a photo of the electronic code would have enough resolution to work. Airline dropped the ball when they found out the real passenger was already checked in and didn’t deplane
You don't show it to them, you just use your phone to scan it and go.
Yeah I can’t word it like you it’s beyond fluster
The scanner at the gate doesn’t know if what was scanned was paper or a screen. Remember that nowadays most people board an airplane by scanning a barcode on their phone.
It doesn't matter. They scan the barcode on the paper and digital boarding passes. As long as the resolution is good enough, the gate employee wouldn't notice because they don't look that closely if it scans properly.
Criminal...prison for you..
say goodbye to being able to use your phone as a boarding pass lol
Mental health evaluation? He pre-calculated every move from getting a cheap standby ticket to hiding in the bathroom when he boarded. Sounds more like a terrorist threat to me.
In the words of Fred Sanford, "you big dummy!!"
Thats crazy. You never can tell people's true intent
The second persons hand ge shook, watched him taking pics of the other person's ticket.
Why didn't he say anything?
His home should be going to jail.
Why? His home is innocent. It's just a structure and didn't do anything wrong.
No law!
It’s funny how they’re using “allegedly” when 1) it’s on video and 2) he confessed to doing it. 🤣🤷🏾♂️
By law, alleged must be used in the event of being found not guilty in a court. Another issue is...if found not guilty s/he could sue.
It's this dumb thing called the Constitution where it says you are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. /s
