  • Installing the base rail for the camper: Part 2
The question is to buy or build, I chose build. Building an overland pop-up truck camper or a pickup pop up as I like to call it. The plan is to have it act like a wedge camper as well as a full pop up. Not doing the vanlife or trucklife so the camper needs to be able to come on and off. It also needs come apart to store in a small space.
    More info will be here:
    boulderundergr...
List of all dimensions and materials coming later with the same link
If you need a link to anything about the build, just leave a comment and I will get it added.

you can get t-slotted studs from the 8020 site. You can find some that are drop in or you but in from the end. But I think you're about done with the design so this probably comes too late.
Your journey figuring out how you wanted to do this has been very insightful. I'm interested in your simple camper/work shell...the one that will align with the profile of the cab.

Hoping to get to the camper done soon so I can start on the camper shell. I really like the rsismartcap.com shells so probably try something like that.

I’m really impressed with this build. I appreciate the trial and error approach and mindset, especially when dealing with the 80/20. This is going to be a fantastic resource for people to reference. Can’t wait to see how it progresses. Keep it up!

Great series of videos, I have been researching how I would like to build my own rig. These videos have been more helpful than most other things I have seen. Great work!
