I'm surprised to not see more use of defensive Strike Nodes from Celestials vs dog spam, they'd protect against Hornet raids as well, I'd think you'd want at least one covering every Collection Array to keep them from being forced to lift off. A strike node costs about the same as one Prism or being forced to lift a Collection Array once. Although I guess once you factor in the power costs it adds up to a bit more.
Cabals are really the answer to hornets - strike nodes (even surged) don't really do enough damage to take the hornet down before it kills prisms and returns to hangar
@@BeoMulfthanks for the advice! Strike nodes were the first thing I tried, and even 2-3 nodes aren't enough, Hornets are just too fast. I'll try out the cabals though ^^
OP, could it be because pros instinctively distrust static defense? It's usually considered a subpar choice in games like SC2 except in particular situations. I do use strike nodes myself though 😅
The answer to dog spam is to send it straight to junk mail
This might be my favorite matchup so far, specially when both players are this good at controlling space and contesting greedy play.
This game is fun hehe

Btw or ftw?
Btw - he's strike node rushing but it's actually a macro build
