Date A Live is ridiculous and mostly aware. It swaps from almost a parody of anime romance, and then sprinkling in pretty serious stuff. Not sure in the movie, but one of the girls starts off with him trying to sabotage their date, and she just refuses to be let down. One of the funniest parts of the series.

My friend and I do a similar bingo! We both have a user script that adds random buttons to MAL, so whenever we roll anime, manga, people or characters, we try to fill out the bingo. We have everything from curse thumbnails, people who really have nothing to do with anime (like classical composers or Hollywood actors), funny pictures of characters, specific franchises, whstever we find funny!

I will say, your wheel method is now officially how I make my anime watching decisions 90% of the time so I can surpass "The List Choice Paralysis." I watched Mahou Sensou when it came out, basically just because nano did the ED and I was too new to anime to have standards yet. Even then I couldn't finish it. The ED deserved a better show.

It's a fantastic little series that I can not recommend highly enough, with the only real negative point about it being a certain pair of siblings whos one-sided relationship is at best played for laughs and at worst treated as wholesome and not super weird.

As an anime watcher I'm very selective of what I watch because I know my preferences and I don't want to waste my time. As a teenager I used to be a completionist but now I just don't bother anymore. If I think an anime is low quality I don't bother to finish it.
Now do that with games like 100s of thousands of games that have ever released like form all the consoles + PC (and I mean all like Atari, Sega, Playstation, Nintendo, Xbox and more console games) that would be a fire idea

Date a Live is not bad... well for what it is. I can't believe it went so far beyond 12 episodes. But I enjoy it for what it is. I watched the complete season 1 when it was all there was. I need to rewatch it and go through all the series.
