    Hey, Marion. I’m loving your Make it Wednesday series. I can’t always make it Wednesdays but I make it another night. It’s wine time here in Northern Canada.     Hey Marion! Greetings from Seattle, Washington, USA where it’s still Tuesday night. I’m definitely cooking something similar to this tomorrow for dinner. I’ll probably go to my local H Mart Asian grocery store to get some char siu sauce and greens. We’ve been eating more pork lately since beef is SO expensive here in the US, so this is a great idea for a weeknight meal. Thanks for the inspiration!     I like to do something similar with chicken drumsticks or thigh cutlets- I doctor up the char siu sauce with some honey, ginger, garlic, sesame oil and cooking wine, marinate the chicken for a short time, and roast them in the oven!👍🏻🥰

    I too am unable to watch #MakeItWednesday but love the concept. It’s whiskicito hour here in Andorra. Our new home doesn’t always have all the ingredients but so love the fact that there can always be substitutes with your recipes. Can’t wait to get your new cookbook which is in our shipment. I get that the jar stuff is fine to eat especially when tired or busy. I just find myself comparing your recipe to their recipe ... and then it's no fun to eat 😆

We saw it yesterday Tuesday time here in Washington DC and today Wednesday I went down to Chinatown to get the Char sui sauce and the butcher to get the pork cut (they didn’t know what cut I was talking about, 😂) I am a huge fan!! This recipe looks delicious and I can’t wait to give it a try minus the pork because my hubby doesn’t eat it (I know sinful right?)
