I saw some guy using the same band to tie his arm off near the dumpster behind my house. It’s awesome to see everyone trying to get bigger arms . Thanks Davis !!
There is a significant body of literature suggesting that stretching the muscle is a major contributor to muscle hypertrophy. Additionally, several studies directly suggest and recommend the following for hypertrophy: 1. Incline curls. 2. Face-away curls. These exercises involve an extended shoulder, leading to a stretched bicep throughout the exercise, i.e., more tension under load. Certainly, if one wants to ego lift the most weight possible using the "CNS" to push oneself rather than to build muscle, their workout might seem ideal. It's disappointing to see you initially disregard extended shoulders, contradicting a substantial portion of the literature, based on what I can assume is your personal feeling.
Learn some basic comprehension skills before typing multiple paragraphs of pointless information that have nothing to do with what he said. The only part of this video where he said the stretch is pointless is in the beginning when he took his arm way past the point that the stretch is actually effective. He then showed how to stay more stable and still get the best stretch you can get without uselessly overextending. Watch the video before you start commenting next time, you shouldn’t voluntarily look ignorant when you don’t have to.
No-nonsense, straight to the answers, provides clear explanation and illustration. This is what people want and these videos are doing an amazing job delivering.
The nonsense is him saying that the streched position of the bicep is not good for growth when that part is arguably the most growth promoting part of the movement
As a new lifter (lifetime runner) this channel has been a fucking lifesaver. Saved me hours of reading articles and papers on the best science based effective lifitinb techniques. Thanks so much.
Bro, I love these tutorials. Not only do I find out the best exercises to do for whichever muscle, I get to find out why they’re best and how they’re the best compared to other exercises. Gotta listen to a Natty when they look as good as this geezer does ✌🏻
This is straight up SICK😮💨🔥🔥 This is where you draw a line between a bodybuilder making videos, and a bodybuilder who is actually a CONTENT creator. Hands down the best🙌🏻
So according to muscle study, you get more hypertrophy when the muscles is stretched, not from the contraction itself, so allowing for a better stretch on the brachial is actually what you should look for…
Everybody talks about the editing but the model in the video is also so perfect like his body fat percentage is so perfect like he is not super shredded looks so natural so amd so but also you can see ever single muscle man , this channel is a goldmine...
Davis, I watch your vids nearly every day. Every time I see one, I wonder why I’m not in the gym at that instant. Thank you for all the advice/tips for fitness. Came a long way because of you
Nah see I like this dude as he's giving us straight to the point tips and not trying to seem smart and talk about the pros and cons of one exercise for 10 minutes
Loved the Advice but I have a doubt that If training muscle at streched position is superior for hypertrophy. Then why is behind the shoulder cable bicep curls is not as effective.
The only issue is you are wrong when it come to "the stretch" almost every study says (and from personal experience as a junior pt) that for better gains brah you gotta stretch full range of motion is king!
Your videos are actually insane. Thank you!!! I’ve been working out for years, but your videos give me a lot of amazing and new exercises and more understanding.

SMH is only advantageous for noobs
This is what I was looking for, thanks. I watch too much Mike Isratael and Jeff Nippard to let this fly.

actually, putting your muscles under load in the stretched position is actually the best way to train for muscle growth.

Training the bicep from a stretched position is better for growth.
Current litterature actually says the streched position of a muscle is the one that generates the most hypertrophy though
Dr. Mike has entered the chat.
So according to muscle study, you get more hypertrophy when the muscles is stretched, not from the contraction itself, so allowing for a better stretch on the brachial is actually what you should look for…
