I think it is well worth noting that the one gold mine you have here is it the previous owner knew his machinery and kept it in operable running condition. That has saved you a lot of time and money with all the machine that you need and all the things in there that you can use like the electric drill, etc. you know that they are going to run once they are cleaned up. And absolute bonus and also it’s going to save you one heck of a lot of money.
I suppose that when going through his tools, etc. you have to think what his plans were. My g-pa used to say, if you don't understand something take a step back and wait for it to speak. His logic has helped me many times.
What a blast watching the whooping and laughter at getting motors started - so cool. Well I have to say I’m now invested in the full Reno. You guys are so much fun!
Please show the organizing projects too. People love watching other people organize stuff. So nice to have Ethan be such a huge help, and enjoy that four wheeler so much.
The joy this property has brought your family is amazing. I just keep smiling. The wonderful memories you're making with your son will last a lifetime. I just love these videos!
I'm in Australia and absolutely love your faces as you start these things and they work !!! Never change how you present yourselves...it's great to watch ❤❤
How people live off grid anywhere is fascinating! You hit the motherload of all of them! The couple had money for sure. Since no family took over it's nice your family will be enjoying restoring their legacy. I look forward to this adventure. Thanks for sharing!
Would be so cool to come across some photo albums of prior owners to see what ventures they had. I bet the couple would be happy knowing their stuff and prior work was appreciated. Great update, thanks for the share.
Wow! You are finding more and more great equipment that actually works. I can’t imagine what she sold it for, but I feel she was overwhelmed. I would be too!
So lucky to have found that place filled with so much good stuff. Just had a water leak that the old lady couldnt take care of i guess. Seems like a cool old man lived there with all the classic cars and trucks.
Super excited to see what you guys do with the place. Much love from Vancouver BC Canada 🇨🇦 ❤ Not sure I could leave the comforts of the city, but am loving your journey.
I really love watching y'all work and play! You probably have 200 grand in those work shops . All those car should make you a small fortune. Post them on line. Best of luck, can you tell us about how much you paid for it , ball park figure ? Are there many places abandoned in Alaska. It's just gorgeous. Awe, to be young again! Your family's spirt is soreing . I'll keep watching.
God Bless that sweet youngin! His thrill at driving the quad was felt right to my old bones!! Excited no doubt!!! I wonder what he acts like now that he is surely pro status now. God Bless y'all!!!
The previous owner certainly did leave everything behind!! You look to have everything you will ever need or want to live at the property. Just amazes me that they just took their suitcase and left. You are sitting on a fortune of stuff. Still that’s good for you. You won’t have to bring much with you!! Good to see you having so much fun!
Lots of diamonds amongst the junk. As you know by now this becomes a project of sort and organize and organize and organize some more. Probably start by scooping the low hanging fruit the junk. Remove the junk and the diamonds shine through. What a pain in the rear and a blast all at the same time - wow.
My goodness sir, you did get a lot of equipment and tools with this property! Your articulated loader. (Wylie) will be a fantastic workhorse around the land but be sure you do the maintenance required to keep it on task! That goes for All of your motorized equipment. The amount of work and organizing should keep you busy for a very long time indeed. All labors of Love in the long run! I am enjoying your postings!
Oh boy, oh boy! You have a lot of new Boy Toys to play with and enjoy. I hope you'll be able to sell those old cars in the Spring/Summer to get lots of money to fix up your wonderful new place. I'm envious. You need a trailer to attach to your truck to haul off all the junk. I hope you'll be able to reuse or recycle a lot of the better things you're finding inside the buildings.😊 Can't wait for the next video!
Good Morning! I hope you let us see when you put the things in a place and what you save or sell. Is there a scrap/metal place in Alaska? You can get money for that. Your property has a lot of treasures!! Can’t wait to see what you and your family do next.
All those toys! What fun! Love the way you are naming things, we did that, our generator was Jenny, and we had Doug the Digger among others. Loving watching you discover things. Thanks Jo in France 🇫🇷
You guys are so much fun to watch! Your laugh is contagious as well! What a fun place you got there, and the exploring is fantastic! Looking forward to more. 🤩😄
The cabin with all the saws in it, reminds me of the little shops my dad had as we we’re growing up. He even had a cast iron stove to keep it warm in the winter.😊
Just found your channel and watched the 4 episodes and I am now looking forward to the next ones!! That is a completely full house of so much stuff LOL!
You are going to need a supersized waste bin dropped on your property so can be gone with all the garbage for Id think that was priority” so much work ahead of you, one day at a time” sure will find many treasures.🙂🍁🇨🇦
Absolutely loved being able to watch you guys going through all the new adventures together as a beautiful family ❤. All the way from New Zealand 🇳🇿 ❤️. Wish you all my very best in all the great years to come.xxxxx Enjoy!!!!! You deserve!!!
Treasure everywhere. The truck hood and doors are worth a good bit if the are relatively rust free. Metal cabinets, both free standing and wall mounted can be if they are antiques. And of course the tools.
That was the Hoop'n 'N Holler'n of a man that is discovering that the assets left behind have definitely contributed to the value in the price of the property. It has everything needed to build your own dream from what was once someone elses. New Sub here. Much love from Northern Alberta ... Cant wait to watch the journey unfold. A WELDER EVEN!!!! OMG. You guys should have held back on the dono's and had a spring Garage Sale (Could have give away the same stuff to the neighbours without having to pay for shipping to the local thrift that is just going to charge the folks for it anyway). Maybe something to consider when facing the downsize on the other buildings. CHEERS! Super Excited to see GRASS and wild flowers / plants .... I betcha there are plenty perennials in the surrounding spaces. CAREFUL AS YOU MOW!!!
There's nothing random in that garage, I bet the old man knew where everything was!!!
The excitement and goofy laughing is contagious. So much fun!
Thanks for watching! 😊
I am so glad that the former resident’s homestead will be carried on and improved upon. His legacy will be continued.
❤
I am sure he agrees wherever he is
You guys bought a gold mine of treasure! The classic cars alone are worth so much! Big market for the parts alone! All the tools and equipment wow!
I understand wanting to clean up the yard but some of those vehicles were worth some real money. When he said he gave them away I was shocked.
@@WV_Raised1983 gave the cars away ??? Or sold them?
@@the_voice_of_reason I'm pretty sure he said he gave some away

Your g-pa sounds wise. Thanks for sharing his wisdom.
I hope you will have a survey and confirm the easement before demolishing those buildings that the neighbor said were built on the easement.
What a blast watching the whooping and laughter at getting motors started - so cool. Well I have to say I’m now invested in the full Reno. You guys are so much fun!
Glad you are enjoying the videos. Thanks for watching!

They sent those to the original owner. She had planned on coming back.
Wow! You are finding more and more great equipment that actually works. I can’t imagine what she sold it for, but I feel she was overwhelmed. I would be too!

So many cars on the property.
Push throttle forward, hold foot brake in and crank mower.
