Watching your channel is inspiring me to try new things. I found some stompy boots at the thrift store today with very painterly multicolored roses on them. My first and middle name are both flowers, and I went through a pretty significant phase where I hated my middle name especially (Rose) because it was 'too girly.' I saw those shoes today, thought "eh, why not," and tried them on. And goddamn if those boots weren't comfortable as hell. I had a feeling I'd regret it if I left without them... so $6 later, here we are combatting childhood assumptions and looking stylish doing it.

I used jeans and made a patchwork out of light cotton, so to give it more body and avoid the flapping situation I stitched the cotton on top of scrap pieces of denim. Works like a dream! Maybe backing your lighter fabric with something more sturdy could help. Thank u for the spooky video 🎃🎃🎃

Hey Kathleen, you should try using a frixion pen to trace the letters onto your sweater projects with words/phrases. The frixion pen marks can be removed by heat or water. Obviously you should always test it on your fabric first to ensure it will come out, but I thought it might help.

Everything in my home is either thrifted, 'gifted' (if anyone's throwing anything out, I usually grab it) or second hand. I've just found four great chairs that were left at the side of the road! Just finished Sea of Tranquility via audiobook a few days ago! It's a patchwork of somewhat interconnected stories the reader doesn't fully understand until the end. You mentioned The Fifth Season; I enjoyed the series even though I'm not typically a reader of fantasy books.
