I’ve always been puzzled by this. But I think there has to be some tipping point video that sets off a chain reaction to get her there. It hasn’t happened yet but it will. Agreed that there are much less worthy channels with a zillion subscribers.

I have 2 dark kallax units I've been wanting to turn into buffet style units for a while, and couldn't figure out how to do 4 doors so I'm so glad you did! I will definitely have to look into that primer and will be scooping that door layout for mine

Me too. I have so many ikea kallax units of different sizes I've wanted to put doors on. I saw another DIYer do something similar with the inserts about 6 months ago and cannot stop thinking about it. Danie's use of the tape really cleaned up the edges though and her piece just looks more finished than others I've seen. The glass top and taping the doors elevate this piece beyond what I've seen others do. Makes all of my previous issues doing something like this disappear.
@@candace200 same! I have only this one unit, identical to the one used in the video and have been meaning to add doors to it for so long now. I saw Kristen McGowan do a makeover that I loved, but she used the insert doors from ikea and then applied the wood over it which makes it quite more expensive. I want to add the doors straight on like Dani did!

Maybe change the color, depending on decor... but I do love, love, love this color!!! And, this is much better than stepping on Legos in the middle of the night left behind by children not doing their do-diligence in cleaning up. That is why this would be the only Lego-inspiration allowed in this house!
