- How to replace Honda Ridgeline Pilot Odyssey Accord 3.5 V6 Spark Plugs.
DIY tip - use two 3.5 inch extensions to reach the plugs as there is not much room to access them, especially at the firewall side.
The video is on a 2007 HONDA RIDGELINE
Good stuff I have a 2014 Ridgeline that is over due for some plugs she just got an oil change new filter and air filter. The last engine I did plugs on was my civic Sir with the K20 and those are super simple. This does not look too bad either thanks for the tip!
just need the right extensions to get a length that fits back there.
I have a 2017 accord v6 & was , like wtf . Lol until I found your channel thx
Thanks so much for taking the time to do this video. Just what I needed to know.
Just go slow and done drop anything!
Thank you for posting. I had a fun time with this in the past on an Acura almost the same setup. This would’ve helped a lot in the past
actually doing/showing the job wouldve been nice too. what about the 2 outside ones in the back? less room to get at those it appeared..
Thank you for posting the Video! many of today's Asian V6 FWD are such pain in the tail just to do simple maintenance! I bet dealer would charge at least $1200 just for this job..
Not quite that much, but still ridiculous. $621.45 was my quote.
@@JeremyNofs yikes!
Thanks for the concise video! I'm about to attempt this replacement, and your tip should really help!
NICE !!! Always look for short videos ... "The fool is known for lots of words" Thanks.

Thanks for the information
No prob good luck
Good video! You are easy to listen to! I enjoy your Honda videos very much. Question, you have over 100,000 miles (US) on the 3.5L V6... have you changed the timing belt yet? I'd love to see a video on that.
It was replaced by the previous owner around 80,000 miles. If I keep the truck I will do a belt video in future.
Thank you for straight forward video/explanation. I haven't yet changed my 2018 Pilot. I am wondering if you experienced any problem removing the SP Socket on the rear plugs? I have experienced problem with the first 3" socket separating from the second (attached to SS Socket) and a had real fight getting it out....similar to this one with near impossible access. thanks again...
no I just went very slowly. I can see how that could happen at the back though. Tape them together if you have to!
you do not show how to take out coils 2 and 3, mine touch the central supports of the radiator and therefore the coils jam and do not come out of the motor
I think all pilot year are not the same so i think you should specifi the year
fixed in the description
I really don’t understand why you guys don’t put the vehicle year you are doing this
Good point.
