Guys, I urge y’all to react to other Selena songs from this night. It’s important to experience the facts that you don’t have to understand the language for Selena to make you understand the music.
On behalf of Selena's friends and family here in corpus Christi Texas I'd like to thank you for keeping her legacy alive by reacting and covering her music on your channel if you ever find yourself in corpus Christi TX come to the Selena museum for a personal tour
I hope Selena was not like some people in Corpus Christi that I met while I was Visiting. I assumed they were Mexican Americans and they got offended and said they were Spaniards 😅😅😅😅 they look like they could of be born in Mexico or Central America, funny how they eat Mexican food and almost same culture as people south of the border. Is must be south texas thing , because I read Eva longoria has the same problem looks full Mexican and Sis and Mom look Mexican with heavy Asian features, like most tejanos so called Hispanics it must be inferiority complex too😅😅😅😅
Selena was destined for so much more. Not only was she a great performer, but she had such a great heart. She was a beautiful person through and through. May she be resting in musical paradise. 💐 🕊️ 🎤
You're right, she became my favorite in 1995 and I always followed her and I always cried watching her videos. It's a shame to feel that nothing can be done for her unfortunate departure.
Selena loved Donna Summer (as if you couldn't tell). I had a cassette tape of hers and played it until it wouldn't play anymore. She didn't record a bad song, in English or Spanish 🎶🎵💚
Just stunning. The overall maturity & self-assuredness that shines through in her performance, it's as though she is exactly where she is meant to be. She's truly an old soul. What a loss to her family and loved ones😢😢😢
I couldn’t click fast enough! Thank You So Much…Our Texas White Rose, Forever Loved, Forever One of the Best Female Entertainer! No Auto Tune, Just Selena! I was working behind the scenes this night and It Was Magical!
What a "Stunning" choice guys. Really enjoyed this. She is so "beloved" and such a loss. She opened doors typically closed in "Tejano" music to females. The Tejano Queen R.I.P.
Glad to see y’all reacting to the most beautiful women as a genuine person. There will never be another one like her. If you would react to the whole Amor Prohibido album you will see the different types of music on that one album. That was the last album she did on tour. It is a classic in the Latino culture. Keep up the great reactions. 😎
Selena was a queen our QUEEN!! Sooo beautiful, humble talented this woman had it all! I was lucky enough to attend one of her concerts and wow!! she was mesmerizing, no backup dancers, no in ears, no dazzling lights only her and and her beautiful self ❤❤❤ You will forever live in our hearts
She was amazing and I was blessed to see her at her actual last performance after the Astrodome but before her death which was in Bryan, Texas. I was only 17 but was a DJ for intermission when she performed here. Will never forget that.
I don’t write comments, however today I felt the need. Thank you so much for the genuine reaction of Selena. I was able to listen and watch her perform, when I was in Highschool. I felt the loss and was heartbroken when she passed. Thank you for keeping her memory and recognizing her for the super star… captivating person that she was. I have replayed your reaction video now countless times… because it makes me happy to watch all three of your eyes light up…. She had you from the first note. Myself as well. RIP Selena
I also want to add that her importance in addition to her voice and music was that she was BROWN and curvy. Her Latina contemporaries were white, light skin Latinas who sang pop music. It was nice to see an icon singing Tejano and Mexican music who also looked like her people.
That entire show was very good and I especially like Si Una Vez. She was just starting on an English cross-over album when she died. Aside from this show, I suggest "La Carcacha" Live En Vivo and "Enamorada De Ti" Live at Premio Lo Nuestro. They showcase her dancing skills.
Selena was the biggest latin artist of the 90s. Ppl also loved her because she was very humble and approachable and she had a great sense of humor. They did release a couple of her English songs.
She wasn’t but she was so close to being the biggest latin artist of the 90s until her untimely death. Gloria Estefan was still the biggest and most recognizable name, especially because she was a successful crossover artist. She would’ve easily surpassed her had she gotten the chance.
Please listen to more Selena songs from this performance. Her voice transcended languages, so even if you don’t understand Spanish, you’ll feel every emotion she’s expressing.
You hit it right on the nail! Selena 100% was destined for great things. She had the "X" factor. She was multi-talented at so many levels. Even designing her clothes... All "things" withing the musical and artistic world were happening so rapidly for her. She was a figure so many looked up to because she was such a kind and genuine down to earth type of person that people naturally gravitated towards her. She was humble and beautiful inside and out. Honestly, I'm not exaggerating. May she rest in eternal peace. ❤
¡Viva el USA! 🇲🇽🇺🇸 I always think of Selena showcasing here, her American roots. I saw her on Nov/Dec, ¹94, at the Lakeland Civic Center, in Lakeland Florida. I was blown away by her presence and how people reacted to her. I had never seen that before. I've never seen it since. I had no idea who she was. I was 16 years old. All the cousins had to go to the baile, together. So I went. I think it was $15 for the concert/baile. I had already gone to other bailes, they weren't my cup of tea. The people went crazy, they jumped on the tables. I thought maybe there were fighting, but no, it was for Selena. I was shocked to hear her speak English, yet sang in Spanish. I remember there was a white guy, in a cowboy hat, that she brought up on stage. The guy didn't speak Spa, so she'd tell him in Eng and talk to the audience in Spanish. I only remember that one song from the concert, "Qué Creías".
I had not really heard any of her music .. this girl had some PIPES! Sad that she was taken from the world .. such a beautiful soul. Thank you for bringing this to your channel .. I really love what you guys are putting out! I noticed you really enjoy AC/DC ... and Angus ripping up the strings .. was wondering if you have ever heard any Stevie Ray Vaughan .. RnB .. one of the best ... I would say .. Pride and Joy is one of my favorite songs ... would love to hear your reaction to his sound. Big Ello from Canada EH
One of her big english songs was Dreaming of You and the Spanish song that got her noticed was Como la Flor. One of my personal favorites is No Me Queda Mas.
Jennifer Lopez sent a lot of time with Selena's family to portray Selena as acurately as possible, the way she spoke, her mannerisms, etc. Jennifer did a phenomal job playing the part.
I'm a gringa but I went to college in the, southwest where Selena was popular. I've loved her music to this day! It was so tragic and sad when she was murdered.
You really should watch some interviews.. she was so genuine, a people person.. her laugh was so beautiful..I was 16 when she was murdered.. I been a fan since i was young.. miss her, I think she would been super famous if she was given the chance..😢😢😢
After years of practice and sheer will to succeed this beautiful soul was on her way to all of her dreams coming true and for that hateful PAS human being to have murdered her out of greed and jealousy is absolutely deplorable. RIP Selena!!!
Great reaction guys! Thanks for reacting to the QUEEN! 👑 You should react to three of her english songs, Dreaming of You, I Could Fall in Love, and Missing My Baby. You will enjoy all three.
Selena was IN LOVE with Disco and her biggest role model was Donna Summer. She was amazing and she had so much versatility in her voice. She was so unique. Everyone fell in love with her in everything she did and she is a HUGE figure not just in the latin community but to everyone who listens to her. Life is so unfair at times, sometimes people who you can't get enough of, are no longer here. She would of rocked it if she were still alive. She was the IT girl. People are still remembering her and falling in love with her. My mom said she used to have so many men and woman romantically fall in love with her because her inner and outer beauty was captivating. She is the type of girl that so many wish to be.
@eboneyfleming6404 growing up it was Donna, mostly as a child. She admired all of them but A.B. mentioned that Selena absolutely LOVED Donna Summer and Gloria Gaynor growing up.
Selena Gomez was named after Selena. Aaliyah and Selena had so many similarities. They would have been huge. I do believe Selena would have been a Mega Star.
When Selena was taken, it broke us so much. Selena would have easily been one of the top 10 artists of all time had she lived. You guys should check out side by side comparisons of Jlo acting out Selena in the movie. She played her almost perfectly!
Please do more reactions to La Reina 🙏🏽 This entire concert is so good and Selena’s skills were impressive and her voice powerful. Gone WAY too soon and taken unfairly by someone she trusted with everything. I truly believe that mainstream music wouldn’t look anything like it does now if she would have successfully crossed over, she was that influential. A few of my favorite songs: Si Una Vez No Debes Jugar No Me Queda Mas!!! Techno Cumbia Ven Conmigo
You guys have to listen to “Dreaming of You”! She was in the middle of recording her first crossover album when she passed, even though English was her first language she blew up in the Spanish music circle first. Dreaming of You is a number 1 hit from the album. It was released after she passed away.
SHE LITERALLY HAD IT ALL! the looks, the body, the voice, the moves, the personality and charisma and was a humble sweet nice person to boot!....
Fr! She was the whole package. She was a star
Indeed❤️
This is what real live singing sounds like. Zero auto tune, zero lip syncing. Just pure raw unfiltered amazing vocals.
Im 63 now, and I still get choked up when I remember that terrible day.
I agree and I was there that day as well as her two prior concerts at the Houston Rodeo.
Igual yo, también tengo 63 años, 02/05/1961
Guys, I urge y’all to react to other Selena songs from this night. It’s important to experience the facts that you don’t have to understand the language for Selena to make you understand the music.
I hope they do react to her other songs!
Con todo respeto, pero creo que jlo hubiera tenido mucha competencia con Selena
She passed 21 days after this concert . Being her last !! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
this was her last huge concert bu not her last concert overall
She died over a month after this concert!
I'm still sad about it. Man. Certain losses just never go away. I feel the same with Aaliyah...
33 days after because if there were 21 the date would be March 19
Selena sold out the Astrodome in 1993, 1994 and 1995 ... she was/is the whole package. 💐
On behalf of Selena's friends and family here in corpus Christi Texas I'd like to thank you for keeping her legacy alive by reacting and covering her music on your channel if you ever find yourself in corpus Christi TX come to the Selena museum for a personal tour
Wow, thank you
Don’t forget lake Jackson too !!! 979!!!
I will go there one day!! She means so much to me!! ❤❤❤
I hope Selena was not like some people in Corpus Christi that I met while I was

Her song "Como La Flor" is one of her biggest hits. I love that song, hope you react to it.
She was an icon even before this show.
All songs from the concert at the ASTRODOME are amazing!
The passing of Selena tore everyone's hearts. You would love her traditional Tejano music. RIP Selena. Gone way too soon.
You're right, she became my favorite in 1995 and I always followed her and I always cried watching her videos. It's a shame to feel that nothing can be done for her unfortunate departure.
I see her and I can avoid to cry, she is truly missed
Selena loved Donna Summer (as if you couldn't tell). I had a cassette tape of hers and played it until it wouldn't play anymore. She didn't record a bad song, in English or Spanish 🎶🎵💚
"I will survive!" always gives me chills because she died shortly after this concert. Queen, you survived in our hearts!
Just stunning. The overall maturity & self-assuredness that shines through in her performance, it's as though she is exactly where she is meant to be. She's truly an old soul. What a loss to her family and loved ones😢😢😢
She is the queen❤
Yes to more Selena! You guys will love her music.
I couldn’t click fast enough! Thank You So Much…Our Texas White Rose, Forever Loved, Forever One of the Best Female Entertainer!
No Auto Tune, Just Selena! I was working behind the scenes this night and It Was Magical!
Did you meet her?!?!?!
Gracias por reaccionar a nuestra querida Selena, nuestra Reyna del tex mex que vivirá para la eternidad!
What a "Stunning" choice guys. Really enjoyed this. She is so "beloved" and such a loss. She opened doors typically closed in "Tejano" music to females. The Tejano Queen R.I.P.
I remember I cried when I heard she died. She was my favorite singer.
Guy at the top gets it.. Not just the music, but life.
She was huge to us Tejanos and Mexican-Anericans.
Glad to see y’all reacting to the most beautiful women as a genuine person. There will never be another one like her. Great suggestion!👍
The entire concert is amazing!
She was so young yet such a seasoned entertainer, we lost a few amazing artists who were great and she definitely was one of them ❤
Selena was a queen our QUEEN!! Sooo beautiful, humble talented this woman had it all! I was lucky enough to attend one of her concerts and wow!! she was mesmerizing, no backup dancers, no in ears, no dazzling lights only her and and her beautiful self ❤❤❤ You will forever live in our hearts
Diosa por siempre ❤
Thank you for your reaction to Selena, La Reina ❤️
More Selena please 💜💜🇻🇪✌🏽
Selena Forever ❤❤😢
She was amazing and I was blessed to see her at her actual last performance after the Astrodome but before her death which was in Bryan, Texas. I was only 17 but was a DJ for intermission when she performed here. Will never forget that.
I love how much you fell in love with our queen. She was such a pure, angelic, phenomenonal soul.
Techno Cumbia…one of my Selena favs.
She is so GORGEOUS the queen

Much Love Trisha!!! Her loss was a blow to music!!! She is/was a true icon!!!

“Como la flor” from the same concert. It’s her most viewed video on RUclips.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Nice nice❤❤ from curacao and holland love her🇨🇼🇨🇼🇨🇼🇨🇼🇨🇼🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱❤️
I hope no one gets offended, but I really do think she was the Beyonce of her time, and had she not been unalived, she would of been even bigger.
Selena had class.
anything from her last concert (astrodome 1995) is pure gold. 100% a real true singer and performer 🔥
¡Viva el USA! 🇲🇽🇺🇸

After years of practice and sheer will to succeed this beautiful soul was on her way to all of her dreams coming true and for that hateful PAS human being to have murdered her out of greed and jealousy is absolutely deplorable. RIP Selena!!!
Selena would have been HUGE! She was huge in the Latino world. I was a kid when she died and I was devastated. We all wanted to be like Selena 😭
We ❤ Selena a loooooot, the queen
Great reaction guys! Thanks for reacting to the QUEEN! 👑
You should react to three of her english songs, Dreaming of You, I Could Fall in Love, and Missing My Baby. You will enjoy all three.

So beautiful and so happy…such a waste…hope that woman never gets out of jail. 🇨🇦🖖🏻💔
She is still celebrated in latin awards shows and had makeup line come out through MAC cosmetics. So she is still very popular decades later

Idk why she always mentioned Mariah, Michael,Janet and others as her inspiration or influences more than Donna summer.
@eboneyfleming6404 growing up it was Donna, mostly as a child. She admired all of them but A.B. mentioned that Selena absolutely LOVED Donna Summer and Gloria Gaynor growing up.
Que Creias by Selena is another great video! It's a short video but very entertaining! The uploader is DineNizhoni.
More Selena videos !!
Thank you! 💜
Selena Gomez was named after Selena. Aaliyah and Selena had so many similarities. They would have been huge. I do believe Selena would have been a Mega Star.

DREAMING OF YOU .AND - I COULD FALL IN LOVE
You guys have to listen to “Dreaming of You”! She was in the middle of recording her first crossover album when she passed, even though English was her first language she blew up in the Spanish music circle first. Dreaming of You is a number 1 hit from the album. It was released after she passed away.
We will get on that!!!
She was a star on and off stage.
