    Thank you, Crutchfield really sets you up with all the following wires/rest of the package. Fairly easy to do

      Yes, the car has a radio antenna connection built in and it plugs into the new head unit / radio so, yes, the original unit and the new head unit both get AM/FM radio.

    Strange, I have this same exact headunit but mine has a single connection whereas the one in your video has two. The aftermarket wiring harness is not only useless but doesn't even come close to fitting in my car. Do you know which wiring harness I need?

    Can you link the pocket that goes under the radio in order to fill the space ? I can’t find one

      Yes, it was a single DIN pocket for a 2001 Toyota Camry. It was from Crutchfield and it was called "American International UPT900 Dash Kit". You can search for that term on Crutchfield, or you can use this link: www.crutchfield.com/p_003UPT900/American-International-UPT900-Dash-Kit.html

    Did you crack the windshield trying to pry the panel?!

    • @KingBaconMonger
      @KingBaconMonger  4 года назад

      No, not even close. I used a plastic pry bar - which you should absolutely have for trim panel removal - and I don't think that I even had to brace the pry bar against the windshield.

    What mounting kit did you use

    • @KingBaconMonger
      @KingBaconMonger  3 года назад

      I got everything from Crutchfield. It didn't use a mounting kit. It was a Double DIN opening. I took off the trim panel, installed the (Single DIN) receiver and put the original trim panel back on. Since I was installing a Single DIN, I used an American International UPT900 Dash Kit pocket. The side brackets were from the original factory radio.
