When they said she was going crazy, she was awakening.
When they said that she was isolating, she was healing.
When they said she was acting funny, she was growing.
When they said that she had changed, she was evolving.
When they said she did not care anymore, she finally realized that her peace lives within.

  • @CitrusSimon

Inner peace is not the absence of conflict, nor the absence of challenge, but rather the capacity to be with what is, in each moment, without prejudice or judgement.

Presence is in every thought, no matter how positive or negative it may appear, it’s in breath, it’s in farting, it’s the wind messing up the hair, it’s falling in love, it’s in grief, it’s in jealousy, it’s in embarrassment, it’s in yucky food, it’s in mediocre sex, it’s in the most beautiful melody, it’s in every disease and aching, in every doubt and disappointment, in every laughter. It keeps reminding you ALL THE TIME that it has never left you. No one can teach you how to be alive. There isn’t anyone to teach or learn, all there is aliveness. “You” already are it just as is! Whole and complete - > it’s your birthright -> already! 😊

To stop identifying with mental positions, concepts, beliefs, opinions -- even perceptions: quite the human task, given our divine design. To refrain from, or be free of the need to make judgments, project our better and worse ideas onto others... And yet how to be able to stand for, be centered and grounded in what matters most to us, including the compassion, passion and courage to speak our 'truths' on behalf of all living beings --with respect, mindful that others have a right and need to make discoveries too, and take stands.

I'm from Ireland, and gossipping is rampant here. They live for it and I don't agree with it. It's a really low frequency, and in my mindset anyone who gossips about another person is just gratifying themselves as if they're not as bad as the person they are gossipping about. It's a very mean thing to do and the ones who gossip about other people in a negative light are unconscious of the harm they're causing to others. Forgive them all for they know not what they do.

If a person identifies with gossiping, and indulges in it, they are suffering. It is a severe and enduring mental illness, which is considered to be normal by those who indulge in it. This normality is delusional, why? Because it cuts a person off from perceiving the depths of who they are, and the astonishing mysteries contained within.

"Don't seek the truth; stop cherishing opinions". That is correct, and a useful practice. Yet in some deep, perhaps indirect sense, one on the spiritual journey IS seeking truth. It is a razor's-edge path, because there is always the danger that one may become attached to what one THINKS is the truth, or to only a single manifestation/aspect of it. I stress this point because the only alternative to NOT seeking at all is to remain mired, as are many who don't give a damn about spirituality or meditation. In other words, without seeking at all you don't begin your journey; you simply remain confused and stuck in your conditioning. Remember: when Siddhartha left his palace, he began SEEKING a way out of samsaric existence. In some sense, he WAS seeking the truth. It all depends on the manner of your seeking, your approach to it, and your vigilance during your journey.

Non-verbal communication is the most telling - the most genuine (except for PUAs, obviously). For the most part, you can believe body language.
Opinionated or communicative people often feel this need to express what they're thinking or feeling, and as long as it's done TACTFULLY, then it's healthy! You can't keep all your thoughts to yourself to protect other's feelings about themselves. If you feel strongly enough about a specific subject/topic, then it's ok to express your opinion or share a factual experience. That's normal.
But if the goal is to gossip (trying to make yourself feel superior to others), then it's malicious and pointless... better to avoid it completely. It's mean and unsophisticated!

I’m overwhelmed at times. My sons require a lot from me. Since covid I can’t seem to get back on my feet. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined because I suffer from heart disease and I also have lupus. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to support my children. I’m now waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making nearly enough. JESUS HELP me. I’m CRYING OUT TO YOU. I’m tired! Struggling to buy groceries. Struggling to pay rent. Struggling to pay for babysitters. It hasn’t been easy. But I know Father God doesn’t give us more than we can handle. I know all things are possible through Jesus. I WILL KEEP FAITH.
