There is lots more great content to come from both the FN2 and the E46 including Track days, Repairs and Mods.
For those new to my channel, I try and do as much auto mechanics on my cars as possible. I'm very obviously not a mechanic, I just have an interest in repairing and modifying cars, and track driving.
Currently, my BMW E46 330ci is my track car and my Honda Civic Type R FN2 is my daily. The plan is to modify the FN2 with the aim of getting my racing license and turning the FN2 in to a dedicated amateur race car.
The E46 is very much a budget track build, however I am still trying everything I can to get that Castle Combe Circuit lap time down...
Thanks if you got this far and please consider subscribing :)
Love your never give up and I’ll make it fit approach. Hats off to you man 👍👍
Thanks bud 😁 Much appreciated 👍
Another great video, been an epic series
Thanks mate, I appreciate it 👍
Bobs your Aunt !, Fannie's ya Uncle! lol!, You always come up with an Inspector Gadget like solution for a problem buddy, I absolutely lv it.👍👍
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks mate 👍 I like to think I'm good at bodging things 😁 I was thinking more A-Team but I'll accept Inspector Gadget 😂😂 👍
This is a proper tutorial mate. Well done. Not a easy job!
Thanks buddy 👍 definitely some of the trickiest bushes I've done.
@@ModFix big job to do without proper tools and space. The rear ones are ok. Front ones are a no no for me. Not skilled enough xD
Mate, what an absolute ball ache that job looked 😅🙈 cracking video again though bud 👍🏼👌🏼
Ah mate, absolute nightmare trying to figure it out, but now that I know, probably wouldn't be too bad the next time lol 😆. Thanks bud I appreciate it 👍 😀
I just did one of these, only took me 4 hours without a vice 🤣😂
Hope I never have to do that again, what a ball ache and a half!!!!
🤣 Couldn't agree more mate 😁👍
Looking at the sweat you got on glad i got someone to do mine... but i don't get the satisfaction of doing it myself... swings and roundabouts eh? good job mate
Thanks mate 👍 Some of these jobs are definitely more difficult than I expected. Maybe I should do a bit of research first. But where's the fun in that 😆
@@ModFix :D
Dunno why you didn't get the whole compliance bush. Its almost the same price around £30, unless you got the bush for £10/£15
The PowerFlex bushes are about £60. They don't come pre installed in the carrier unfortunately
What are they like to drive over standard bushes? Just been offered a full set for £225 and might take the offer
Definitely feels more precise and direct at the front. Not pushed it too much though as I'm bedding in the new front pads.
Plus you'll never need to replace them 👍
Omg man, review them - can't believe you left it like that!
. was it worth it?
Yeah definitely. They sharpened the change in direction nicely and should last longer than the car. Just a bit of a ball ache to do
Do you have a link for the bush pulling tool
The exact one I bought no longer has an ebay listing however this looks the same.
I couldn't tell you if it's exactly the same size bits, but it looks identical I'm the picture. Seems to have gone up £20 in 2 years too!!
