I like the MT-32 version best. It sounds similar to the original ad-lib sound but more luxurious.

Lucasarts adventures have a quality to them a lot of companies cant replicate. I like how most of them arent linear and usually give you a choice of different puzzles and areas to explore in any order. This game is a bit more linear than most of them but has 3 different paths that change the route of the game, which gives it great replay value which is quite rare for adventure games.

how accurate is mt32 emulation compared to the real thing ?

MUNT and solutions that use it like mt32-pi are nearly indistinguishable. You would need to have golden ears to tell any differences in most circumstances.

Currently it is 1 to 1 pretty much since it is used for mister fpga.
