I don't know where you heard that word, but it's a highly disrespectful racial slur, often directed toward the Black community. It's neither funny nor entertaining. My man's Mom has beginning Alzheimer's/dementia but still living at home, with help. Due to her dementia, the stove has to be 'deactivated' for her safety. I cook big homemade meals everyday and deliver to her on my way to work. My man works away all week so I don't need big meals but I do it because I love him, and she's his Mom.

I think a sign that I'm head over heels for him is that I support his choice in his recovery coming first, even before me or us. In other relationships I always felt like I needed to be priority number one but now I'm happy to take the back burner because I know it's what he NEEDS to be the man I deserve & that he's happy being. I hope that makes sense.. It's just the first time in my life that I've been able to love someone enough to truly put their well being & happiness before my own.
same, I know sign language too. my twin was deaf at birth all the way up til 3 years old so I had to teach him to speak. lol so now I realize when I talk that I talk with my hands and end up using sign language at the same time as I'm talking with my voice as well.
One of sweetest things I ever experienced was when my mom had bought a new car and I was just elated for her accomplishment. My DM called me, asking how my day went. When I shared the news with him, he literally lit up and said: "I'm happy for your mom. And I'm happy that you're happy for your mom." There's also a look he gives me... Ugh... Melts me every time.

Its amazing how at 46 years old I have never experience this. Unfortnatly had a bad childhood with neclation from parents. Had only had shorts relationships and always very toxic ones. I thrown the towel for 11 years ago not to get involved again and learning 2 practice self love...every Day.....and its Hard some days. Yes! so true about all this! I especially appreciated him patiently waiting for me while I attended a function with my friends, about three hours of him waiting. He said he walked and checked out stores. (He had attended a different function earlier in the day.) Then my friends and I met up with him and he transferred my belongings and extra baggage into the back of the pickup, all the while respectful to me and my friends, no complaining. I loved his being patient and expressed my appreciation. We later got root beer floats on the way home, all because he knew I liked them, too. He had said on the way there that we would stop on the way back and we did. What a keeper!

Do not underestimate a child's capacity to love, either. When I was in 2nd grade and I lost my heart to a classmate, I didn't mind losing an argument with him. I didn't mind so much losing my question during sharing because he was called on before I was. I mean I was bummed out to have lost my question to someone else, but if I was going to, I would have rather lost it to _him._ Even a scolding word (when I was in the wrong for something) was quickly forgotten. My guy and I were both "talkers"...meaning we both were social and talked a lot. I have to admit I have probably bored some people with my talking. I'm certain he did too...and I'm certain if we had a contest he would win! But even when he was telling me something I didn't understand or really wasn't interested in, I would hand on every word he said. I wanted to know everything that he had on his mind or wanted to share because he mattered to me. Over 45 years I never stopped listening. And you know what? He listened to me too. We complimented each other so much. I could list 100 things. I miss him so much I sometimes think I can't breathe.
That scene was very great & did show alot of signs. He literally couldn't barely take his eyes off her. Wonder why some men always, make it seem they aren't staring at you. He was excited when I graduated. 5. I forgot to take a shower once and he still was treating me like he always did. 6. Finds your quirks cute. I sometimes (ok often...) Act younger than I am very childish also dress very cute he found it adorable and it was very obvious. Few I've noticed guys do: they will ask if you've eaten or if you're hungry. No matter what your doing he likes it. You surprise visit him it makes him super happy. Me as a girl few I noticed I will do. Same as guy he is handsome no matter what. I've seen him in mostly sweatpants and a t-shirt yes he be stunning. The stairing is same for girls too. Also try to look at nice for him even if don't really think about it. He pretty much is in my head 24/7 yup... My friend finds it amusing how much I can talk about him...

This is really helpful. As someone coming from a narcissistic abusive relationship I don’t have any trust left sense of normalcy. I see my friends boyfriend do all of these things too. It’s so soo sweet! I want that, I’ve never had that. It’s confusing when your spouse says they love you cries for you and you don’t know what that means! My man's Mom has beginning Alzheimer's/dementia but still living at home, with help. Due to her dementia, the stove has to be 'deactivated' for her safety. I cook big homemade meals everyday and deliver to her on my way to work. My man works away all week so I don't need big meals but I do it because I love him, and she's his Mom.

same, I know sign language too. my twin was deaf at birth all the way up til 3 years old so I had to teach him to speak. lol so now I realize when I talk that I talk with my hands and end up using sign language at the same time as I'm talking with my voice as well.

Yes! so true about all this! I especially appreciated him patiently waiting for me while I attended a function with my friends, about three hours of him waiting. He said he walked and checked out stores. (He had attended a different function earlier in the day.) Then my friends and I met up with him and he transferred my belongings and extra baggage into the back of the pickup, all the while respectful to me and my friends, no complaining. I loved his being patient and expressed my appreciation. We later got root beer floats on the way home, all because he knew I liked them, too. He had said on the way there that we would stop on the way back and we did. What a keeper!

Do not underestimate a child's capacity to love, either. When I was in 2nd grade and I lost my heart to a classmate, I didn't mind losing an argument with him. I didn't mind so much losing my question during sharing because he was called on before I was. I mean I was bummed out to have lost my question to someone else, but if I was going to, I would have rather lost it to _him._ Even a scolding word (when I was in the wrong for something) was quickly forgotten. My guy and I were both "talkers"...meaning we both were social and talked a lot. I have to admit I have probably bored some people with my talking. I'm certain he did too...and I'm certain if we had a contest he would win! But even when he was telling me something I didn't understand or really wasn't interested in, I would hand on every word he said. I wanted to know everything that he had on his mind or wanted to share because he mattered to me. Over 45 years I never stopped listening. And you know what? He listened to me too. We complimented each other so much. I could list 100 things. I miss him so much I sometimes think I can't breathe.
