- Why did I buy the new Harley Davidson x440 ? What's the logic ? After all I have a bigger , stronger , faster Harley - it makes no sense? Well...in this video I explain the reasons for getting my new Harley. I flew all the way to India to put my hands on the bike and to be one of the first in the world to own one. Spoiler alert - I love it ! It's a fun little bike and think it's great as a beginner bike or as a second bike for local rides or daily commute.

Very interesting vid, Sandy. I believe HD also has a joint venture in China producing a slightly different small (to the US market) cruiser. I suspect they are getting their production sourcing "ducks in a row" before committing to importing to the USA. When you get the bike home, give me a shout - I'd love to stop over and see it.
Sandy, once you get the bike over here, will the Harley dealerships service, support, have spare parts, etc. for the bike? Also will it meet US safety standards for lighting, etc for licensing. I assume you looked into that, so just asking.

That place just screams Adventure Bike all day, just my opinion, great video Sandy.......
I do agree in a way. There are some affordable used Harleys out there but alot of the times,the bike needs some work or has high mileage. I know you can sometimes find a gem but it would be nice to have access to a brand new affordable bike from Harley with a warranty for the young new rider!

Between farm animals on the road & limited visibility those roads are nerve racking. Will there be any issues with passing emissions testing when bringing the bike to NJ?
