Thanks man that was helpful. I have the same Wheeler they're amazing! I live in Alaska so I run at 20 and 30 below sometimes so I went with amsoil atv 0w 40. I ended up using 2.5 quarts as well
Nice demo - you added 2.5 quarts from the video. But how much oil did you put into the filter? 2 filter ounces would add to your total. I wonder what that filter holds?
@@KReesethebeastit all still circulates and all is apart of the total being 2.5 though ..? Correct ? So that added filter oil is not technically more but just added directly into the filter and not the case. Once the machine is started it should all start flowing around and joining still making the total 2.5.
It appears the oil that was poured in the filter was from QT 1 of the 3. So when he went to add QT 1 into the case it was the (already opened) remainder of QT 1 followed by an unopened QT 2 followed by the Last/3rd QT where he put aprox 500ml still totaling in the 2.5
Great video. I will be doing oil change within next few days. Thanks for lengthy video with in depth explaining ! 2016 Yamaha Grizzly
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome video very explicit and helpful. Great job bud. Keep producing videos.
Thank you
Great Detailed VDO... Well Done Brother...
@@Ernest71Vega thank you!
Thanks for the info, I just bought a 2024 and it is exactly the same, right at the bottom of the hash mark. Yamaha must be being cheap with the oil :)
Thanks for the information!
The manual states to check it cold and if its been running to let it sit for at least 10 mins before checking the level.

It always seems to be an insignificant amount of oil that is added to the filter.

So you just poured the oil in where u took the dipstick out right?
Yep that goes into the crankcase.
Is the oil fully synthetic or semi synthetic
I believe Yamalube is a conventional style
Remember you aded oil to your oil filter that added more
