You've probably already looked it up, but the stone giant dreamwalker is supposed to have a steering wheel stuck in it's shoulder and an anchor on the wrist in a half skin colour half wood/metalic colour. The picture in volo shows that quite well! :)
Also the Sea Spawn and Kraken Priest are both in Volo as well! Setting a Kraken sub-plot in one of my campaigns, so seeing you unbox these figures made me wanting to get them myself :)

The Aktio you are correct the dresmwalker is supposed to look that way. Kind of ugly still in my opinion but it's not a mistake.

You’re dream walker is correct. They put things under their skin. Usually nautical items like the ship wheel on her shoulder.

The thing on the shoulder is the wheel on a ship.

Looks like that giant has ship parts incorporated into the model. The shoulder appears to be a ship wheel.
I’d love to get a Gazer and compare him to other smaller minis like the Flameskull and Pseudodragon.

Since there is an anchor under the skin, might that shoulder be a wheel under the skin? Is it some kind of construct? might account for the smooth features of the face...just a thought...nice unboxing...I am liking the storm Giant also....Jim

Man... you must have a lot of disposable income to do something like that. Or at least responsible with credit cards (or not, I don't know you!) I mostly paint my minis these days, but I still like going out and buying these blind boxes from time to time. They're great when you just want something prepainted, don't care what, and heck, maybe it will make for an interesting encounter! I didn't know I needed a mimic till I pulled a prepainted mimic from my first blind box, and the next D&D session I ran, mimic encounter!
Aka, I want to go and buy a brick like that from time to time, but dang it I can only afford to buy unpainted minis and one box a month. I wouldn't even mind getting identical minis or minis that are just a different variation of another mini, especially with the medium and small minis. Just means more variety and now I can throw an army of frost giants at my players and make them hate me!
Well normally I buy 1 brick at under $85 when these sets come out. I generally will sell duplicates and put that money towards the next release.
The bard is never far!
That's a leaf blade sword not a gladius. It's still not correct as it's more of a Celtic blade then Norse but it's closer then a Gladius. The Gladius is a straight bladed sword with a triangular tip while a leaf bladed sword has a more hourglass shape with the first half being slightly wider then the width closer the the handle.
On my first and only pack I got two of the rare aasimar paladins
I literally got allmost the exact same figures from my brick. Mabey 2 or 3 figures were different.

I am keeping the stuff for the video game tournaments I do at the public library. But I have too much video game nonsense. I gotta cut down on it this weekend.
Dreamwalker is not supposed to have something on the shoulder. The way they are described in Volos, they pick up stuff and creatures of interest and over time these things acrete to their body as they are encased in stone.
The one you called a Tridrone is the kraken priest from the NPC appendix in Volos. They falsly affixed the wrong base to the mini for the whole batch, kind of a screw up of wizkids. The tridone should have been the third of the monodrones.

Actually the Stone Giant Dreamwalker does have ship parts in its flesh with some of the pointy parts poking out. I don't know why, but it does.
I really hate how they colored the frost giant skin tone for the ones in these Memagiere since they did it well on the Everlasting one that is rarer to get. It’s just such a bright teal blue it is a little off putting.

Yeah I figured that out. I usually only do a few boxes. I tried this out but I believe I will go back to my original format.

Why does the paint job look worse than for SKT?
There were some bad examples in SKT too. It's a shame but the quality of the paintjobs is still weird.
I miss the 4e paintjobs. Those were pretty nice.
