Skiing an ICONIC COULOIR in the DOLOMITES

This time Wolfi, Karli and I are skiing a classic line in the Dolomites, called Canale Holzer. With up to 50° steepness and a length of 500m (elevation loss), falling is not an option. Especially when considering the ice waterfall half way down.
Afterwards we managed to ski Canale Joel, a chute slightly less steep but very narrow.

Hi. Just found your channel today. Excellent content. I'm a big skier here in the US. I live in New Hampshire now and ski local mountains in New Hampshire and Vermont. But I grew up skiing the Western US. Oregon's Mt Hood, Whistler BC (that was the first video of your I watched), Jackson WY, Colorado, Tahoe and I would have to say my favorite place so far is Telluride. I have yet had the opportunity to ski in Europe. But your videos make me want to plan a vacation out there someday. I wish you the best and look forward to your next video....Chago

I spent a season in the town of Canazei (where you began your ascend toward Pordoi in the beginning). I've only ever gone up on the Pordoi once, and skied Val Mezdi... I had no idea you could ski those lines with so little snow? Not that I'd have the skill anyway..

Nice video, and skiing. Question, why edit out the hardest part in Holzer where the abseil section was filled in, would have been nice to see how that was negotiated. Enjoyed it regardless.
I skied it again recently and will make another more vlog style video about it.
I was there last Tuesday,50 cm of fresh snow with almost no people,last 3 days it did snow again,tomorrow will be up again,to bad that the Gondola is closed till December 23.

Skier: Do you mind if I do this couloir?
US forest service: Not really, but we aren't going to help you get to it so you'll probably be in ski boots for 8 hours and you won't make it to the couloir if you're not an ultramarathoner type.
Europe: Gondola goes to top.
