Why in the world did you remove all the lower components? The 2 water seals and oil seal can be replaced from the top after you removed the oil pump gears???
I removed the oil pan due to fact the coupling for the oil pump drive gear had come apart and there were pieces in the oil pan I could not see so I pulled it apart to make sure I got all the pieces out.. I have done many of the water seals and oil seal I understand you can do this job with out doing what I did but I had my own reasons why I pulled it further down!!!!!!
It’s about 2 hrs start to finish if you have done them and know exactly what to pull apart and have proper tools there are some hidden bolts and nuts it is best to by a shop manual for your engine.
Good I’m from The Bahamas currently study the marine mechanic field where is this

And curious why you didn't change the plastic shift rod bushing while head off?

@Odinsoneye because it was no issue I greased it and didn’t see the need to replace that
@Phillipsmarine2022 oh, never had that happen. Good catch
@Phillipsmarine2022 seems like all the 2015 L6s are having shift rod bushing problems at once. I have them lined up
I have 2 of my trips doing same. Dreading doing it. How long did 1 take?
