The Angels, John Brewster, the Noise11.com 2024 interview

The Angels are heading out on the 50 Not Out tour marking 50 years since the bands started in Adelaide.
Over that time, they shared history with AC/DC, being produced by Vanda and Young, recording for Albert Records and John Brewster tells the story of being in the studio while AC/DC recorded ‘Let There Be Rock’.
The Angels ‘Face To Face’ is one of Australia’s most iconic albums. For 2024 there is the 14th album ‘Ninety Nine’ with the new line-up of Tom Brewster, John Brewster, Nick Norton, Rick Brewster, Sam Brewster.

What a great interview...
I owned one of Johns Marshall half stacks for 20 yrs.(1982 -2002) Cabinet Had ''TheAngels ..Johns Top 5" stencilled on it.. I bought it from Geoff Chunn(Citizen Band) in NZ..
John had the best guitar sound ever in that early 80s era..70s Les Paul with Gibson T Top pickups with the low wattage Marshall Quad.. Just a killer mind lowing crunch tone.
