  • That Jeep Adventure takes a trip to Windrock Park in Oliver Springs, TN. It was wet and muddy trail riding and we were able to find a few rocks along the way. Even though miles and miles of riding is not normally what we look for, we had a blast being in the mountains and taking in all of the scenery that East Tennessee has to offer. The park is amazing. It is very well organized, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the views are unmatched. Our group included a Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon, a JK, and a TJ.

    when i seen the thumbnail of the video i said "WINDOROCK?" but i just misread it (windorock is literally 2 seconds down the road from me, with good trails too). minor mistake, anyway great video

    Would be unreasonable to expect friends to wait for someone whos routinely late. Time is the one thing that you can not get more of and once wasted is forever lost.

    We just got back from Windrock. 16 was a BEAST. Took 7 hours 😅

    Should’ve done Nemo tunnel. Wanna drive your Jeep a half mile under ground? Nemo tunnel is where it’s at. Your Jeep would be more than enough rig to take on the challenge.

      I've seen a stock 2 wheel drive f150 make nemo's that's not even a trail more like a road

    I was here about 4 years ago. I remember most of what you showed. The first section that rutted out downhill my buddy got 2 high on the pass side and about put it on its side! Great place to wheel. Very cool video

    Great video. You’ve sold me on going there now. Your TJ looks to be set up like mine. 35’s, 4:88’s, lockers with the little 4 Banger tank. And it looked like it did really well.

      Thank you! A low sprung TJ on 35s is a fantastic all around wheeler. Was gonna put this one on tons and 40s but it is just too much fun as is. Ended up buying another Jeep on tons so I could keep this one a small tire Jeep. I love wheeling this thing

    Hey man I have 97 2.5l tj with 33s I wanted to re gear to 4:88 gears and was told by one local shop that the pinion head was so small it would over heat just wanted to know if you ever drove highway speeds for 30 min and if you’ve had any problems

    • @ThatJeepAdventure
      @ThatJeepAdventure  3 года назад

      Yea. If they are telling you that, I’d definitely find a difference shop to install the gears. People run 5.38s down the highway

    • @ThatJeepAdventure
      @ThatJeepAdventure  3 года назад

      You’ll lose a bit of top end speed, but the trade off will be that it’ll hold speed up long hills better at highway speeds. Mine cruises about 60 tops.

      I run 4:88’s with 35’s with no problems. On the Highway it’s a turd. 70mph is basically your limit in the North Georgia mountains.

    Don’t know how y’all feel about non jeep guys but I’m local to Hattiesburg and try to get out as often as possible. Would love to catch up one day and see if y’all have any places down here in south MS to ride.

    • @ThatJeepAdventure
      @ThatJeepAdventure  3 года назад

      Haha! As they say, “run what ya brung”. Unfortunately I don’t really know anywhere to ride. I hear of people riding National Forest roads, but I also hear that they get fines from time to time. There is a place in Perkinston too, but again have heard people getting in trouble out there. Closest place that really has actual wheeling would be Sicily Island, LA. It’s muddy but also has some rocks. Where do you ride?
