“Every corner is a start” NEVER thought of it like that but it makes so much sense!! It’s like he knows what he’s talking about or something haha! Thanks Ryan!
I'm 59, been racing all my life in some fashion or another. Every time I watch another of Ryan's videos I feel like a rookie. Just picked up a new 2021 KTM450SXF so I better pay attention to the teacher... Great videos Ryan, and thank you!
Same, 53 here. I need to unlearn bad habits that I have learned from other pro's from the 80 and 90's that had teaching videos. Back to the bike stand I go!
I suffer from something called cfs and I get extreme arm pump as a result, usually takes a lap or two. Using this technique I’ve managed to actually go my race pace for 20mins straight. Best I’ve felt on a bike in a long time and it brings the joy back into riding, brilliant video.
Its so easy to listen, but man its hard to apply new techniques when you've been riding for 40 years. But I've noticed changes in how I feel on the bike. Thanks again Ryan
This video plus a couple of your others have saved my season! I was riding with hips all locked up and fighting getting pulled off the bike, but no longer. Thank you for making it so simple to understand 👊
It's actually incredible how this applies to steep technical hill climbs/single track as well, not just in MX! It is one piece of the puzzle that I was missing trying to solve an issue I was having with control on long, loose, rocky climbs. Awesome explanation!
thank you so much, this is the best advice i’ve seen so far, no one has ever mentioned this to the single detail, i lifted my bike on the same stand and felt the difference in upper body going forward and backwards, such an amazing tip, now i understand the physics,
I’ve just got a feeling that hip position is a key to have a straight back and elbows kinda go up itself, then I found this video as a proof to my thoughts, thanks! 🤙
His talk on hip position is legit. Ryan is teaching tai chi motocross. This is critical to master in tai chi which is all about hips and alignment for ultimate balance and power. Nice work Ryan.
Heard the phrase "hips in, hips out" but didn't fully understand it. Thanks for the clarification. I do all of the flaws you point out in this vid, and suffer all of the negatives. Slouching, slow exit speed, arm pump, tension and over-correction...Eager to work on this technique once it's riding season in my area. Thanks.
I have done this for years, but at gnarly tracks I often tend to avoid to rotate my hips forward, because of the blows you can get in the balls from the bumps in the track 😅
Hello Ryan! I am a huge fan of you, and I try to use the things/ tecnique you speak about in the videos.Still I am missing one video where you show how you move your feets on the fotpegs. When you are shifting gear and braking. When I ride my mx bike I try to stand on my tippy tippy toe😁😁🤪
Friday i was fooling around on youtube and step on the jesus/motocross/tips.yestarday i went for 5hours enduro and guess what.....this tip with the hips..made me at least 50%better rider.get it....JESUS SAVES....
I do that naturally. Until I ran across this video, I was unsure what you meant by hips out. I thought you saying rotate your hips forward. But what you're really saying is rotate your hips back. Right?
Great fucking tip.... I am famous for making the stupid mistake of locking my arms out and letting my hips rotate towards the back of the bike.... I always got to be reminding myself to sit up... Hips forward... Head over the bars.... You think after 35 years of riding that would come natural.... It don't. Lol. Again awesome tip keep em coming!
I TELL MY WIFE THE EXACT SAME THING WHEN RIDING. HIPS OUT. ROTATE YOUR HIPS OUT. YOU NEED TO HAVE SEPARATION IN THE MIDDLE. ALLOW MOVEMENT. UPPER BODY GOING FORWARD. ARMS LOOSE. BE ONE WITH YOURSELF.
Don't forget the faster you go the smoother it gets and you can only go as fast as your suspension allows you to go. Now a little FalconXstreaM talk fly your tall body and trick your 2 STROKE and SMOKE 4 STROKES. BUT ANYONE CAN FLY THERE BODY.💯%
Once again Ryan giving out free advice that’s ‘gold’!
“Every corner is a start” NEVER thought of it like that but it makes so much sense!! It’s like he knows what he’s talking about or something haha! Thanks Ryan!
I'm 56. And I'm totally down with all you are teaching. I'm going to go back and watch all of your tutorials. You da man. Thanks for your skill

Holy sh*t that is the best explanation of body position I have ever heard ! Keep up the good work Ryan and thanks for making these videos .

I’ve been waiting searching and waiting for a channel like this for SO long, this stuff is GOLD. Golden nuggets everywhere.
I just found his channel as well
Ryan has so much knowledge to share to everyone
what a cool dude
and hes still freaking fast on a motorcycle
Every corner is a start. Love that. At the track now thinking about that and definitely is helping.
Ryan is talking so much sense wish I would’ve had him in my corner when I was younger learning to ride
Thank you Mr. Ryan it’s like u have been watching me & helping me out. I’m forever grateful

Thank you Ryan, riding has been a blast since I've been watching your channel
Great tip from a great rider. I remember him on a 125 giving hell to Pastrana and Langston. The rhino.
It's actually incredible how this applies to steep technical hill climbs/single track as well, not just in MX! It is one piece of the puzzle that I was missing trying to solve an issue I was having with control on long, loose, rocky climbs. Awesome explanation!
Great advice, delivered in a both a visual and concise manner.
thank you so much, this is the best advice i’ve seen so far, no one has ever mentioned this to the single detail, i lifted my bike on the same stand and felt the difference in upper body going forward and backwards, such an amazing tip, now i understand the physics,
Awesome tip, I was having the same problem with corners, felt like I was being pulled off the back of the bike and didn't realize my hip position.
I white water canoe and telemark ski, this makes sense. It's all about balance and finding the sweet spot or Flow. Thank you.
I consciously experimented with this on today’s ride. Took some mental adjustment, but felt a lot better on a bumpy ride.
Very important tip by a
legendary motocross coach! In this video you look like a motocross Jesus
I’ve just got a feeling that hip position is a key to have a straight back and elbows kinda go up itself, then I found this video as a proof to my thoughts, thanks! 🤙

This channel is pure gold I’m glad to take some pointers from this channel. Thank you.

solid gold - Thanks Ryhno!
Dude, thank you so much for clarifying this and making it easy to understand for an old Boomer trying to get back in the sport.
Thank you brother 🇺🇸 incredible advice

Tips that I need! Thanks bro

Great tip thank you Ryhno!
Just brilliant !!
Thanks for clarifying. I finally get it now. Slow learner.
It’s all in the hips 💃
That’s what I told her.
Wife’s baseball boxing dirt bike skating it doesn’t matter the hips don’t lie
I bet 90% of the people

Yea right, and grizzly adams had a beard

Great video.
Nicely said.
Thanks Ryan
thanks ryno
You could also call it, hips forward?
He could be giving a bullriding instruction video with that one. Chest out n hips forward. Bulls are toes out bikes are in.
Sir, I need one on one class. Where can I find you?
This answers my last question on cornering 😂
His hips don't lie.
Eye opener!
We learned this from a man called Elvis back in the 50's- Mr. Swivel Hips himself!!
Insane tips.i use to watch super Dave but your way more thorough.
Thanks man!
Tnx 🙏💓
I do that naturally.

Isn't that just saying sometimes you want to be over the rear wheel and sometimes you want to be over the front wheel?
We used to call that "an athletic stance" or stand like a short stop player in baseball. Similar thing in skiing.
It’s the position that boys works at its best strength - stability - balance and efficiency ! Spot on my friend.
Boys body same thing !
agreed
👍
