@@cse4269 can I send you the Bible verses to look up also when you reply repeat my question or something so I remember your replying to me abt sending verses not wanting to learn I know that sounds a little extra but it would help me
My struggle is trusting the sidewall of the ruts, and berms. I can’t shake the feeling that the dirt is going to collapse just as *I* ride over it. It’s irrational. I know. But I’m getting better.
These same tips will helpful on a 2-Stroke as well. Just keep in mind the differences between the engines, you will have less engine braking which means you might need to get on the brake a little harder or earlier depending on your skill level. Keep mixing that gas! -Nick -KX 250 2 Stroke-
These guys absolutely rip. I highly recommend the RMX Academy. There is no better value for what you get and the track is prepped deep and challenging preparing you for real race conditions. Can’t say enough good about Riley and McCoy.
Thanks, Mike! The Broughs are all rippers and I learned a ton in just the one day I was there. Luckily, since I announce at the RMX races, I always bug them about riding tips haha. - Chase
@@rmatvmc thanks Chase and great work with the always interesting content. I’ve seen you at the races and practice track and will have to say hi next time!
This is a good tip, but it's also a pretty advanced move. I would tell most riders to focus on the tips in this video first and then try that technique. But yes, this can help keep the front stuck to the ground better, but it is also an easy way to mess up the turn if not done correctly. - Chase
We're working on something for this! But it takes the right jump face to film it. Unfortunately, we don't have a lot of sandy tracks out here which usually have jump faces with deep ruts. But if we get to a track that has them, we will for sure film one! - Chase
Select a better rut for next lap using your peripheral vision with the other riders as indicators. Fitting a series of rut selections whilst brapping your way to slay your rutted presence can keep you busy. Anyone still brapping through the outside of corners?
@@jasonrodgers5723 the worst are deep rutted corners. I have 0 confidence. I dont hardly lean the bike over and my leg is way out to the side. I guess when I was younger I should have concentrated on corners vs going fast and keeping up with my riding buddies. I bet none of those guys ride anymore muchless race.
Reminds me of doing the figure 8 drill with long ruts! Great practice and very humbling!
keeping your inside knee tucked up tight against the shroud and your toe pointed inwards really helps keep you balanced in the rut
100%!!! Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the tips! I can’t get enough of them.
Glad you like them and thanks for watching!
Awesome video, super helpful 👍👍 thanks for the advice...
Glad it was helpful!
Would like to hear about the “re-grip” in a corner
Thanks a lot !👍
eyes up and patience is definitely the best way to remove bad habits, it feels slow as hell at first but once you practice it gets quicker and easier
i would like to hear more about front break control in the corner
We actually did a little video with Marshal Weltin talking about this! ruclips.net/user/shorts7nAxL67nJIs

Cool guy's thanks for great tips about Ruth Corning 🇬🇧👍
You bet! Thanks for watching!
do you have any specific advice for a 2 stroke rider, also what state is this in

did you want to mention dragging the front brake?
Keeps the front wheel planted better, more stable when small amount of pressure is kept on it

@@rmatvmc good point. if not going fast enough, it's not going to work right.

Leg drag at 2:50 😢 gotta keep em on the pegs
Please one about deep ruts on jump faces

Focus ahead and keeping your feet on the pegs and throttle through and out of those ruts! Wheelie through them!
