Half of the time the riding lessons are locals that have bad technique anyways. AJ is teaching the proper way, look at MXGP Stefan Everts, Jett, Eli, Sexton etc Vs. locals, and basically everyone else. Feet on the pegs, solid upper body and consistent

Since I'm living other side of the world I can't get take courses from very knowledgeable riders like you. Most of things you taught here are the things that I've never heard of and now I've got whats wrong with my riding and why it feels so weird. Thanks sharing all these informafions for free 🙌 and please please keep doing this.

That toes pointed in and knee touching in the attack position is a great tip! If you could, please show some of the bad examples of the students while riding and some of the good examples demonstrating your lesson. I think that would make it even more clear. A lot of potential for this channel. You instruct very clearly. Please continue to make instructional videos. Thank you!

Any skiers out there who ride? The whole idea of releasing your hips to separate the upper and lower body is exactly what you do in mogul skiing, too. Watch videos of mogul skiing competition, and you'll see their legs pumping, knees acting as shocks, with some side to side in the legs, while the chest, shoulders, head, and torso stay perfectly still and pointed straight down the mountain ("where they want to go" in biker-speak). I guess the concept makes sense for any sport where you're absorbing bumps while going somewhere. Great video!

If you’re here now, Practice this!. As Im getting older I’ve noticed my posture has been very bad growing up. Tried this and right away I can feel how much more free everything feels and how much more speed I can carry. I’ve been maxed out because of bad posture and I want to improve more. I think this is what has been in my way.

I have a hard time riding on the balls of my feet and keeping my toes straight with my height, especially when I go from standing to sitting. Especially with being 6’6” but I’m gonna practice this. Never heard about keeping my hips loose, but I’ve been through some rough stuff and it felt like I was absorbing correctly, but I’ll practice. Thanks!!

I'm old school I learned the hard way and on my own figured stuff out,and one day, tired not one hundred percent I started using my legs to ride the bike like I hear the pros supposedly do but I had know idea how excactly,it was so much less effort doing it with the legs instead of using a lot of handle bar input to make the bike start the turn,I road race too so it weird going back and four from sport bike to motocross....but next time out I lost it and it was gone back to the old style its because I was not staying on the balls of my feet I could never figure that out shift ing and braking, reach.piece,THANKS

Whenever I do the proper attack position it doesn’t feel comfortable and my grip on the throttle is bad even though I’m trying to grip it the proper way which is making me endo and rocket air, when ever I have the not do good posture, I jump level and feel more comfortable, so I’m wondering what to do to make the attack position feel more comfortable.

My question is shifting and rear braking. If i'm on the balls of my feet..heels down...I can't shift. So do I shift or brake then just go back to the ball of my foot. ???

I’m having trouble with the bike pulling back from the handlebars while in the standing attack position. I can counter that sitting, but I’m not understanding how it’s done standing. Arm pump is an issue due to this reason.
