People think you have more control with all fingers on the bars, which is true but, the energy you lose from moving your fingers on and off the levers constantly, causes more fatigue and you end up losing even more grip and control.
I like one finger on both levers so i dont have to think about adjusting my hands. The more things you can eliminate having to think about, the more you can focus on the actual racing
I've been riding street bikes since 1985... the same is for the street. The split second it takes for your finger(s) to travel 1/2 to 1 second, it could have provided 35 to 50 feet of stopping at freeway speeds. I have a 1995 Honda Goldwing SE, (2) 1985 Suzuki Madura 1200s, and a 1998 Honda XR650L.
If I don't keep my fingers on brake/clutch levers I get arm pump
I would get mad arm pump tho
Right index finger, left middle finger. My body grew into it after a year
I wish I knew to cover leavers as a kid, still not comfortable covering the break while being able to fully use the throttle
Beautiful scenery. Where is this ?
Up your butt fool
Jordan River Utah!
Then how do you ride rollers without the clutch on electric bike???
The clutch changes your state of buoyancy...
Awesome.
