    Trapping is very underrated. If you can find the spawn points and you’re ok with your weapon just reduce the health of a few crocos and send ‘em off. You get the traps back in the mail. You can do this while you’re fishing and bug catching for the museum, too.

    Never sell the disks to John, always sell them to Franklin.
    Only sell your items if you really need to use the money, because you can save 50 of each and sell for 50% more profit to Jimmy (he appears on every rainy day) his boat will be around your island, just check the map on a rainy day to see a brown question mark for his location. Jimmy only buy items if you have at least 50 of them, he also sells you the Hand Glider for 1500 blue tickets!

    Fishing tip:
    When you get the copper fishing rod and a row boat, go fishing up north at night, barracuda and tuna sell for a lot. I've made almost 200K dink with half an inventory of these fish. But I think these fish only come out certain seasons tho.

    After the Bloomin Update all of the artifacts had their sales value nerfed. I think saving the parts for making items is going to be worth more than selling the parts at this point. Fishing is a powerful money maker. Remember that tip about cooking meat? Cook the fish too. Most fish sell for less than if you cooked them. The more valuable fish produce more than one piece of cooked fish at a time. For example anchovies and stingray both produce 2 cooked saltwater fish when cooked. Focus on saltwater fish because they sell for more than fresh water.
    Early game when you collect fruit on the map, grab a shovel and bury the fruit near your base. Create a fruit orchard. While the fruit doesn't sell for a whole lot, being able to gather large amounts with no real effort will pay off in the long run. Also take an axe with you and chop down wattle and bottle brush bushes. That will give you 0-2 seeds per bush. Plant those near your base as well. once you unlock brewing the bottle brush and wattle produce 2 of the best buffs in the game. The wattle brew (made with wattle tea in a keg) sell for 6k each. The bottle brew sells for slightly less. Like 5k each. You probably won't actually sell these, because the buffs are very good.

    I've found that trapping is a good way to make money. If you trap a Bush Devil you get 12,000 dinks and your trap the next day in the mail. I usually take a drop-off point with me, place it down close to any aggressive creatures like Wary Mu and Croco, mark the spot on the map so I can go back to it anytime. Plus if you're close to Wary Mu's you get rid of them by trapping and sending them to the research station you can take any eggs back to your base to sell to John using the scale... the eggs are around 15k to 25k each. You can trap less agressive creatures but they won't give as much money... and you can trap the glowing crocks and Bush Devils in the mine if you take a bunch of drop-off points with you. It's easy to make 100k+ a day with just a handful of traps.

    Rather than hunting animals I like to trap them. Build a animal shipping thinger at each hostile spawning area, then just lure them into traps next to the thing and toss them in before they can break out. The tazzies are 12k each, and since trapping doesn't take any stamina it's an easy activity to do late at night.

    • @YTG1337
      @YTG1337 Год назад +2

      If you lower their health to below half or to a quarter they won't break out, so you can carry aggressive animals a longer distance. Later I think you can also transport on the back of your motorcycle. Also worthwhile to set up multiple drop points around the island, I have mine at each tower.

    • @SqueakingLion
      @SqueakingLion Год назад

      I was just coming on to post this. None of the tips pages or videos I've ever watched mention this... it's awesome! I put shipping drops all over the island, carrying around an inventory of traps, and just capture everything I come across. I can drop a million Dink a day without too much trouble. Granted, you don't get any hunting or fishing or bug catching experience with this method, but we're talking about money, not general gameplay.

    I found that fishing is the best, even better than deep mining.. In Summer and Autumn, I aim to get mainly barracuda and yellowfish tuna or at least travolla. Consistently making at least 150k and the most is 400k+ in one trip after iron fishing rod. I start fishing from 6pm to 11.30pm in the north ocean. In deep mining, you’ll need spend whole day in the mines, another half day to prepare for superfood and also time searching for old keys. However, this method only works in summer and autumn.

    Fishing is the best way to make money. Especially once you get the fishing boat, head up the northern ocean at night time when the water turns night blue and catch your pockets full of barracudas o yellow fin tuna. You can make anywhere from 160k to 230k for almost 4 hours in game of fishing. Sell them the next morning. Just make sure to have enough food on you for your stamina to row back home.

    The best way to make money consistently is trapping. You need at least two, but it's better to have three or more traps. Then find the places where Devils spawn and build the animal collection boxes right next to them. Then put your traps directly in front of the collection boxes and anger the devils to get them to chase you. As soon as they get in the trap immediately pick them up and set them in the box because they will get out of the trap in two to three seconds. Each Devil nets you 12,000 Dinks, and it takes very little time to collect. You don't even need to build the better traps, but I guess you could if you want to.
    Now one last thing, if you do mess up and the trap breaks there is currently a glitch where the trap doesn't reform into an item and just stays on the ground broken, and if that happens walk far enough away for the trap to not be visible anymore (going in a building works too) and when you come back the trap will be there with the animal in it, and even if it's thrashing around the animal Can't get out ever. So then you can just take it wherever you want at any pace you want.
    Long story short you can make a million Dinks in about week this way, with little to no effort.

    • @Ishlacorrin
      @Ishlacorrin Год назад +1

      If you have the mission board then a better way is to make many traps and stockpile animals inside. If you lower their HP to when they start to run then the traps will never break. Then when you get an increased reward for trapping turn them all in. That 12k becomes 25k+ with the reward active.

    4) When you wake up, exit back to the main menu and re-load game.
    5) Dig up each plot where you planted a seed for there to be either be a barrel, wheelie bin, amber, or loose tech pieces. You can easily make about 1+ Mil a day, especially if you have franklin on your island or prioritize selling to the highest bidder (Jimmy on a rainy day for example)

    First mistake, using the pick axe to open barrels. Since the game progression is favoring metals, it's stupid harming your pickaxe on barrels that can be opened by hitting them with an axe or shoveling dirt on them until they break.
    Selling an Apple is horrible return even with the way orchards work, selling a cooked apple and the effort vs reward gets unbalanced and you start being able to make mad cash/hour. Selling Orchard fruit salad and mad cash rolls in with minimal effort.
    Treasure hunting is an AWFUL amount of effort for little return since you need it for progression, so it's stupid to sell it.
    Farming early with bad tools and no automation is a horrible return compared to later (It's still a good effort vs reward compared to most other things). Animals is pretty good return as your other citizens will pet them and it's not that hard to get the silo to automate feeding, but the resource cost is a bit high. The point is to sell the animals when they get to max status.
    Fishing is just a stupid waste of time, even with the fishing book that is a absolutely insane amount of effort you have to put in to get little reward.

    Fishing is so annoying, idk why the developer thought that was a good ideea.
    Idk, usually I really like fishing, I liked fishing in stardew Valley and in some other games but in this one I really dislike it. You need to search for a fish, that's a waste of time, you need to throw exactly where the fish is, if you miss you loose another big chunk of time and the mini game is annoying as hell, another time consuming thing, and then you loose the fish ofc.
    I'm fishing lvl 13 so I fish a little but only because I want the museum complete.
    Maybe with a boat is easier, maybe...
    Oh and a another thing, where is the border for the different fishing spots? Where is where? Idk, the game doesn't fucking tell you because why not.
