I installed the mini subframe kit and lowering springs on my '63 Nova wagon 12 years ago. I did it over a memorial day weekend. In between swimming and barbecuing . ( no beers until I quit working on the car !) I must say the install itself was straight forward and no hiccups. The hardest most time consuming task was cutting out the factory rivets to install the CPP cross member. After trying several alignment shops , spending lots of money on the stock suspension ,It turned out to be the best upgrade I did to that car. It literally transformed the car from being scary to drive to being fun to drive. The improvement is dramatic it no longer feels like a 1st gen Nova it feels like a different car. . 12 years and 97,000 miles later besides tires, the ONLY thing I have had to replace are the front shocks ( not part of the kit) . Even the alignment has held tight due to the locking plates. Looking forward to learning more about your true power steering upgrade.
You did not show connecting steering box to to steering wheel as the original has a built in shaft on box so more parts needed for original column. 62 66 chevy11 in 67 for safety reasons gm switched to shaft and rag joint FYI DIYs

I'd love to know if there's an off-the-shelf answer about this one - leaning towards doing this kit on my 64.
I have a 62 Nova and I'm sick of the original assisted Power steering.
I wish I would have had this a few months ago.
There are so many videos we want to do but can't make them all at once!
