    Of course you’re “warning” against them! I’m 36 and I need around $15,000 worth of dental work- I can’t afford that!! Dental insurance would barely touch it & most insurance maxes out at $1,200 a year anyway! I can’t get a job if I’m missing several from teeth! If you really cared about others dental health you’d make an effort to provide affordable, quality dental care, even work on a sliding scale, and lobby for better dental insurance coverage. Dentistry is a racket!

    My professional dental assessment told me I needed to spend $70k that insurance wouldn't cover. That was not possible for me. But I'm still heavily judged by my smile and having a bad smile has extremely negative effects on overall quality of life.
    I didn't see much other choice than custom snap-ons. I would prefer the professional dental option but just not in the cards. I love my snap on. Gave me some semblance of confidence back. Worth their weight in gold for me.

Im an avid coke and coffee drinker, I have a chip in my front tooth and a missing first premolar, that can be noticed when I smile or talk. I brush and floss daily, but the damage has been done. I need A LOT of work to fix my mouth, but so does my husband, and my youngest twins also need dental checkups and cleaning..so i keep myself on the back burner when it comes to my health. But I WILL be getting some snap-on veneers to help with my self confidence.

    When the dental industry decides to seriously lobby govt officials to pass legislation that designates ALL dental surgeries and treatments for gum disease and root related dental issues as a part of mainstream health insurance policies and demand these dental surgeries, treatments and dental root treatments 100% covered by MAINSTREAM HEALTH INSURANCE, THEN AND ONLY THEN will we LISTEN to you ! Right now, major dental surgeries and root treatments, are CONSIDERED "cosmetic." Gum disease and root related deterioration can exaserbate heart disease, diabetes, and artery related problems, therefore, these major dental problems are NOT COSMETIC ! So called "dental insurance," IS A SICK JOKE !
    The dental industry is all too quick to "warn," laypeople about any "affordable quick fixes," yet have done NOTHING to HELP DESPERATE WORKING CLASS people STOP or MAINTAIN healthy gums and preserve damaged teeth LONG BEFORE people seek out self help "coverups" (snap on veneers) !!!

      No, thank you - I don't want my politician lobbying for a nanny state. In your world people that take good care of their teeth are taxed and pay higher premiums for those that do not - move to Europe if you want to live in that social experiment but I (and many others) like the idea of being responsible for oneself. This dentist is just putting info out there - take it or leave it. The ones that are getting defensive are those that couldn't afford his services anyway so it is 100% no loss to them if you invest in these temp fixes. They are just trying to save those ignorant people that think snapping on veneers over rotten teeth is a good idea.

      @@andreaweeks5196 LEARN HOW TO READ ! I said, gum DISEASE is a RISK to heart disease and diabetes. The govt REGULATES and CLASSIFES what is a MEDICAL CONDITION. To this day the GOVT classifies erectile dysfunction as a MEDICAL CONDITION but NOT symptoms of menopause ! After "NANNY STATE" DESIGNATED MORBID OBESITY & ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION as a "HEALTH RISK" INSURANCE COMPANIES MUST COVER TREATMENT FOR IT.

      @alocinder6573 2 года назад +2

      ZombieDeathRace, for several hours every night an infomercial for ''drilled in'' permanent teeth runs on the t.v.. The place where these dentist practice is not too far from where I live so I thought I'd research more about it. Could I ever afford it...heck no, but still I was curious. The infomercials show clients/patients with serious dental issues who, after only one day have all new permanent teeth. The transformation is, well, (appears to be) amazing. Then I found a site where I read comments from actual patients who had gone to this place, 99 out of 100 had horror stories. Pretty much most all claimed severe pain, even after a long period of time (like years) has gone by. The dentist there do not do a follow up included in the initial insanely expensive price, so, if you have complications, well, that's on you. Sadly, most of these patients saved up the money over many years, so if there are any problems following this procedure they just don't have any money left to get help with their now excruciatingly painful teeth. The infomercial even states, ''make an appointment for a free consultation and exam''. Every patient who posted comments about this all said they were charged for this ''free exam''. Desperate and in pain, many who'd had work done there called this place hoping for help but were quickly quoted $ 25,000 (to start) to correct any procedures. If they couldn't pay they were hung up on. Many claim they were hung up on simply because they called. Sadly, these patients could not get help from their regular dentists as they didn't specialize in permanent implants. Some of the comments posted regarding this place were posted by a spouse or other loved one claiming their spouse had lost so much weight as the pain made it impossible to eat much except broth, and many of these people eventually took their own lives. I say all of this to remind everyone, do your homework as best you can and be leery of those infomercials.

  • @MelanCholy2001
    @MelanCholy2001 Год назад +1

    I'll give you a thumbs up, but disagree slightly. I have over $30K worth of crowns in my mouth ($40K if you want to include a few replacements, plus a failed implant but I got my money back). I still see a dentist! BUT, I have a "missing" ("very chipped") bottom front tooth albeit with a healthy root: the base is there. That happened AFTER I had a medical procedure involving radiation and nobody, NOBODY, wanted to drill even a post into my lower jaw to build a crown. (The radiation 'oopsies' is what damaged the front four lower teeth, and eventually one broke.) Well, I was in a dilemma! The description of that "flapper" for such a tiny tooth (though a front bottom tooth) left little to be desired.
    So I've been using a single "arch" snap-on veneer (won't say which brand; not cheap, not "best ever" probably) almost daily for about 3 years to cover the missing tooth. Ideal? Nah, of course not. But I can eat with it, and I'm not self-conscious at all which is worth the time and effort to keep using it (I'm getting a new bottom arch right now). I take measures to ensure the appliance stays clean; I get my teeth cleaned, watch my nutrition, &c. The original dentists/orthos I'd consulted were uncomfortable with the snap on idea, too (though now at least one sells 'em, lol), but I truly think these can be a viable option for people who dentists/orthos just do not want to touch! Just keep dentist visits and let them inspect everything.
    Note: my other front lower teeth are strong, just slightly discolored as the now-broken one was. And I don't wear the upper "arch" at all (I didn't know how to order internet teeth: I was desperate but didn't need the uppers). Admittedly, after YEARS of doing those "bite checks" after crowns/porcelains, I was easily able to tell where adjustments would be needed wearing both arches and just opted out because I didn't want future jaw pain. I'll be going into Year 4 of the lower veneer now, though I'm starting with a "fresh" (new) snap-on lower.

    “How Dare Working Class Try To Smile At The Fraction Of A Cost”

    • @yolysimplelife
      @yolysimplelife 2 года назад +36

      This is a bunch of bullcrap. I got pop on veneers from the company pop on veneers and I live in New Jersey their office is in New York so I got lucky enough to go into the actual dentist office and have my mole done and ask all the questions that I had and all of them were answered. The best part is that they have their lab right there at the dentist office where they make the veneers. And the reps that answer the phone actually work for the dentist at the dentist office they're not some big customer service center. And they provide you will all information they tell you how they're made what they're made with and basically give you all the information that you need. I have my own teeth and thank God they're not really bad and I take care of them pretty good and I make sure to go for my checkup and cleaning every 6 months and I also get laser teeth whitening done at my dentist office. But I had the veneers for pictures and when I have big events and I love them and it's obvious that they're not permanent veneers so you have to remove them you have to cleanse them and disinfect them and brush your teeth. But at least you don't have to pay $20,000 and get your teeth filed down and damaged. Veneers last 10 years they claimed that it could be longer but that's not true and if one breaks you have to get them repaired removed and go through the whole process again and pay the $20,000 again. The best part is that is a fraction of the cost I was able to make monthly payments and I purchased the warranty just in case. And I am very happy with my pop on veneers and just the fact that I could remove them and have my own teeth breathe and keep up with my teeth Healthcare to me is a plus. It's like these big pharmaceutical companies that tell you that alkaline diet doesn't work that taking natural herb doesn't work that vibrational sound doesn't work when it all does they just want to keep you drug-addicted and sick because to them we're just dollar signs. I looked into many different pop on veneer companies and I did a lot of research before making that decision to do the temporary one and I did the temporary just to see if it's something that I wanted to invest in long-term and I'm glad that I did not invest $20,000 because I am truly happy with my pop on veneers. And the company that I got them from they are top-notch. And just a fact that's their local and they make the veneers in the dentist office in their lab and they're there for you 24/7. And they work with you to make sure that your veneers fit and for whatever reason if they don't you could send them back and they'll replace them and send you a new mold so they're there to make sure that you are satisfied. And I do understand that implants are very expensive major surgery so most people do the veneers because their teeth are in very poor health and there's no coming back from that and I respect that. But if your teeth are in good health even if they're not perfect but they're in good health and you continue to maintain your teeth healthy and get your cleaning done and your teeth whitening this is a great way to have the veneers without making it a permanent investment. And in ten years I don't know if I'm going to have $20,000 again or God knows how much more will go up to and if one of them breaks or cracks for whatever reason I'm going to be with no teeth because my teeth are going to be all file down and my teeth are going to be horrible because they're inside the veneers with no air no way of healing. And I have seen people that their veneers have cracked or they have to go and get them changed and their teeth underneath or 10 times worse than before they got the veneer but they don't talk about that do they lol..🤦🤦😂 He speaks about looking fake Hellloooooo veneers all do you can tell from far away they not real so same thing. Yes unfortunately they not ceramic veneers like the permanent but mines look great and real. I am happy and I do not like to look fake or call attention to myself so if im happy that saids enough. Idk other companies but Pop On Veneers comp are Great. #poponveneers

      @@Honey-Bee-25 hello to answer your question at the beginning I did have a small lisp. But that is something very normal that you would have if you had braces retainers Invisalign. The more you wear them the more you get used to to them and then your lisp literally just goes away. I know that the mind can play tricks so I made it a point to not think of it when I wore them and no one ever asked me if I had veneers on or why was I speaking weird literally nobody noticed and I didn't get them the Hollywood white I got them the natural white because as I have stated in my comment I don't like to call attention to myself. And I figure since the price is good and they offer financing and if you can't Finance then you can do the quadpay which they break it up in payments for you. So I figured that I would start with the natural white and then if in the future I wanted something more bright than I could always do what I did which was applied through quad and be able to break up my payments. And I'm going to tell you that I go out with them and I eat with them but obviously I know that there's certain foods that I cannot eat with them just like if you had to porcelain veneers the porcelain veneers you have to be even more careful because they will crack. I have eaten steak ribs with them and I haven't had any issues and you have to take care of them as you would have to take care of your veneers like I said and porcelain veneers will crack faster than the pop on veneers. I use mines from time to time not all the time but I do have a friend of mine's that unfortunately her teeth are further away as far as health like her teeth would need a lot of work. And she wears hers every single day and she hasn't had any issues. And of course you just have to know that when you get home you're going to take them off and you're going to clean them and you're going to brush your teeth and just maintain your oral health the best that you can. My friend is going to get porcelain veneers but that is because her teeth are just too far gone. So right now she's just maintaining her teeth the best as she can and she uses her pop on veneers everyday and she hasn't had any issues. And then about another year-and-a-half to two years when she saved the right amount of money she's going to get the permanent ones but then again they're not permanent because you have to replace them eventually. You have to have a minimum of six teeth on the top and 6 in the bottom in order to get the veneer they don't have to be 6 teeth lined up together they could be missing teeth in between it doesn't matter as long as you have a minimum of six teeth because the veneer need to be able to clasp onto them. But I will tell you something in my case because I take care of my teeth especially as I've gotten older and realize how important your teeth are because I have friends that are in their early fifties and are already missing a lot of teeth and do to gingivitis have had all teeth removed and using dentures because implants are expensive and very painful. So I've made it a priority of mine to maintain my teeth the best that I can and also do laser teeth whitening every 6 months when I do my deep cleaning. And I know that you didn't ask all that but I figure I just tell you in case those are questions that you might have. So I would tell you what I would tell my friends which is maintained the teeth that you do have left the best that you can and stay up with your oral hygiene and health and use the pop-up veneers for day-to-day use and when you get home cleanse them brush your teeth and let your teeth breathe. Pop-up veneers have been great from the start to the end my first mold I did it incorrectly within 48 hours they emailed me and sent me out a free new kit with the link to a video so that I can watch step-by-step and get it done correctly. Second time around I got it done correctly less than two weeks later I got my veneers and I was happy with the entire process. And just knowing that they're there to answer questions they're there to make you comfortable they don't see it as all your only spending $500 they see it as if you're spending $20,000 that's how they take care of you and I appreciate that. And if you have gaps or missing teeth or if you have one tooth on top of the other like in your gum area the way they do their veneers it fits your mouth and you can't even see those imperfections without even having to have surgery and have the tooth removed. I would tell you to watch the reviews there's plenty of them on RUclips there's tons of them on tiktok go on their website read their information. If you have any questions give them a call and then make your decision. And they do have a money back guarantee as well so I just feel like I wasn't losing worst case scenario I would get my money back. But thank God I didn't have to resort to that. So I hope that helps you and good luck. They do send you a UPS prepaid label so that they could get your mold in two days. And when you place your order they also sent out your kit in 2days. My local UPS offices far away from me so I did some research and found a couple blocks from my house a drop-off location cuz UPS has drop-off locations and everything just worked so smoothly for me from the beginning to the end and I hope that if you start the process to receiving them that you have the same experiences I did

      Nope - the customers for these snap ons vs permanent restoration are entirely different. If someone can afford crowns, veneers, or implants, they will see a dentitst to get them. Snap ons are for 1) those that cannot afford permanent dental restoration or 2) those with healthy but cosemtically flawed teeth. Why do people think that dentists are desperate for customers?? Everyone has teeth issues at some point and there aren't enough dentists to serve them all. The high cost of dental actually helps manage/control the high demand for services.

However people who seek an alternative to expensive dentistry are concerned about their smile but cannot afford your services. Dental insurance is somewhat useless as it covers a minimal amount. The day that dental insurance covers all dental care will be the day were people will no longer look for an alternative. Her snap-ons have lasted her several months and she loves them. We all do. She’s even eaten with them on, but of course not super hard stuff. She does take them out nightly, just like you would a retainer, that’s how I think of them. Those babies cost her around $1500 for top and bottoms. The cool thing about them…she’s always smiling now a days and I honestly haven’t seen her smile like that in years. Yeah I'm really glad I found out about snap on veneers. I had a dentist talk about how discolored my teeth looked when I was 14 and they talked me into real veneers. They ruined my teeth. I spent $1500 on a root canal on a veneered tooth. Spent a year and a half in pain off and on for the same tooth. I suspect the post they put in my crown went through my jaw bone because I have had a hard pin point lump in the gum above the crown. Was told I would need a new root canal (another $1000+). Started looking into a dental implant since it's a front tooth and that was gonna be $3000-$5000. Just gonna get the tooth pulled and get a snap on veneers because all these "risks" happen with dental work too. Fun fact a bad crown can rot your teeth, a bad crown can fuck your alignment, a bad crown can cause pain and quickly add up to thousands of dollars for work that ends with you losing the tooth anyways. $750 for a removable vaneer seems a lot better than endless pain and work for 5 times the cost.

    Cleaning your veneers and not eating with them on prevents all of this. How are plastic veneers any different than plastic retainers that the dentist gives you once your braces are removed? The only difference I see is one keeps your teeth straight while the other makes your teeth look straight. I don't recommend paying $20k+ on anything I have to replace every 10 years especially when insurance isn't covering the cost. Then you have cheaper options like going out of the country to get veneers for cheaper but if one pops off who has the funds and time off from work to keep traveling back?

  • @sjagain

    Dentists are always going on about how poor dental hygiene affects a person's overall health. Well, if dental problems can lead to health problems, dental procedures should be covered under HEALTH insurance policies, not under some worthless dental coverage which may only provide $1500 worth of coverage for an entire year. I badly chipped my front tooth and my dental coverage wouldn't cover 1/3 the root canal and crown costs.

The pain never subsided because the tooth wasn't the cause of the pain. When dentists constantly get on their soap boxes about how poorly we care about our teeth, charge us prohibitive amounts for their work, don't investigate the actual causes of an issue and then won't guarantee work that can literally change your life for the good or poor, why are you surprised when people don't want your "advice"?

    All the talk about 'pop on veneers doesn't give you all your options'.... Do they honestly think people with messed up teeth haven't TRIED to go thru the dentist? Dental insurance is a JOKE. Dentists go on and on about dental health (or lack thereof) leading to so many other health issues, yet most everyday procedures are not covered the same as medical procedures with medical insurance. Fix the ridiculous costs of their 'solutions', then maybe people can afford to do it 'right'. I can get the pop ons, on a pymt plan, and cheaper overall than the cost of ONE crown, and I'm talking the cost AFTER insurance covers.

    Here's the thing with you...YOU don't know if people aren't going to the dentist for an exam before getting these snap-o n s.
    Why are you assuming that? Just because they have snap o n s doesn't mean they're not going to the dentist for regular check ups and other work if needed. COSMETIC dentistry is NOT covered by insurance and most dental coverage only covers 1000- 1200 max. So, people are not really interested in this babbling.
    You guys [dentists] are outraged at the competition and THAT is what's happening here.
    Just like you all came out and spoke wildly negatively about At Home Braces.
    Stopped NOTHING. Millions purchased and opted to do clear aligners at Home instead of forking out 6 to 9,000 or more for I n v i s a l i g n.
    Most people all over the globe can't or do not want to fork out $18,000 to 36 to 40,000 or more for cosmetic dentistry.
    Certain markets Everything is higher. 12 teeth at 1500 a pop is 18k and that's just for the TOP arch.
    If you want the bottom done... now you're looking at nearly 40,000.
    So, does he really think this video is going to stop anything?
    How about lowering the pricing on cosmetic dentistry and people won't turn to these other measures.
    Other than that, you've wasted your time!

    Sometimes, people don't have enough money to afford a dentist, let alone dental care. You can be so poor you're desperate for a quick fix and take a chance because this world can be cruel when you have bad teeth. We all want to be normal and be accepted by society. Life isn't fair but it is what it is. Sad to say looks matter in this world and the poor to working class just want a chance to be accepted in life. I got my braces out and wear my retainers every night. Brush night and day to avoid bad dental mishaps. I wish there was just an affordable way for people to get proper dental care.

      This is cosmetic and it looks to run 1000-2000, which are x-rays, cleanings, and some cavity fillings in one sitting. Plus a diagnostic on all that you need to fix for your dental health. Bad teeth don’t develop overnight, and it takes time to fix bad teeth.
      You don’t have to do everything at once when at the dentist either. You can work with a dentist over time to fix issues when you can afford it. Most offer payment plans without interest too.
      Spending a couple of grand to both ignore dental issues that can affect your health (and can kill you in rare cases) is not a good way to spend your money. Especially if the cosmetic snap on teeth can cause more dental issues in the future.
      There is no way these don’t cause bite issues over time for anyone, since x-rays are not needed.

Even though I was a felony prosecutor, I rendered way more than 50 hours per year, yet lawyers still get a bad rap. Does your state dental regulatory agency require the same?
    There are a lot of people out there who cannot afford full-blown dental implants, etc. Perhaps more pro bono dental services on the part of dentists throughout the United States would make the "problem" go away.

My original estimate $5.000 now year later it is $10.000. Since the clinic I went to charges based on your income we can make payments on it every month. Well, these options are the only options most have available! The risks that you’re mentioning aren’t that horrible. Coming from somebody who was in a car accident on several different occasions and now have dental issues to where I need about $15-$20,000 worth of dental work and that’s just including saving the teeth that are worth saving that is not including getting implants and studs and everything to avoid getting dentures. A lot of people do not have the money to get these procedures done and they don’t want to feel insecure or be looked at differently because they don’t have good looking teeth because their teeth are decaying. While I understand that it is important to consult a dentist, it’s equally important to feel good about yourself and look appropriate otherwise you lose out on job opportunities, family outing, vacations, etc. I’m not saying to use these as a permanent solution, but if you can find a cost effective alternative, then I’m sure people would do that instead of snap ons made from cheap material, but unfortunately, dental work and even getting into seeing a dentist is difficult. I called a few just a couple days ago and they have waiting lists as long as 7 months out. I don’t know about you but I’m tired of looking like o so drugs.
