The best thing I've found for fixing rattles is a product called Dum Dum, its a Butyl Sealant, a very sticky pliable rubber... Add a few suitable size lumps of it behind the trim around the contact faces and mountings and it will be like your door card/dash/interior quarter trims have been cast out of lead. It really is brilliant, every car guy should have some.
Wow! They’re all over in a Saab 93. A hate squeaks in a car. Try Dynamat and Windo-weld too. I had a couple places in my X6. Did a video on it. Maybe you’ll find some solutions there too.
A link to the product or the name in the description would've been nice. They have both rubber and cell foam as separate products, keywords that you've used to describe this single product. Thanks for the tip though. You get my upvote.
@@naturegood515 one thing to ensure is that the rubber weather seal is very clean, if there is any dirt it will actually make a squeaking sound. Thoroughly clean it and then wipe down with a generous amount of silicone oil spray other than that installing a felt type material would be another way to help quiet it down.
@@rhynecars it's just a plastic hardened by thousands of sunny days... I can't find a replacement. I'll go for that rubber tape cause it sounds like a junk and it's actually a very good car.

Nice, thank man!
What is the thickness of this tape?
Fabulous.
Your trunk is so empty.... 😁
a pair of ear buds would have been cheaper and better 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Or buy a better built car! 😅
@@rhynecars they all do the same after 15 years... I am here looking for a solution to my squeaky Merc trunk trim
