In my Giulietta I had a rattling noise coming from the front right passenger door. I was searching like crazy to find where the noise was produced adding insulation in several parts of the door and dashboard. After 5 years of putting up with this I finally found out that the air filter hose had a screw loose which was causing the noise. Right now I have no issues with rattling. Giulietta is great fun car to drive but with poor interior quality...
@@arcgarage at least it repays you with the confidence it gives you when you drive it. It has great handling and it's perfect in a twisty road. I own it since 2018 and up until now the only issues I had was that rattling noise I mentioned, and I had to replace the right motor base with only 40k km, and lastly 3 out 4 door leather covers are hanging so I need to replace them. Aside from those minor issues the Giulietta is pretty reliable.
@@varmastiko2908 the air filter box on the upper left side has a hose which is held by a single screw which in my case was loose. But besides that screw I found out that I was missing another screw on the base of the air filter box which made it shaky. Also the engine cover has an aluminum cover on the lower side which in my case was loose and it was rattling like hell (being a diesel). I removed it and replaced it with those thermal insulations sold in AliExpress. Now I have almost no rattling noise besides the one I'm hearing from that plastic piece on the central dashboard. I hope this answers your questions.
Good video but I on occasions I have cut tapes or adhesive eva rubber washers (or without adhesive). I think this material ages better in the sun than foam, you can also choose in black color.
excellent video! is there something to be done when the electrical front windows mechanism producing noise as well? maybe a video as a tutorial? thx in advance😊
In my Giulietta, the ratling noise only hapens when the engine is cold and the revs are above 1000 rpm, i put a litle pressure in the dashboard above the glove box and the ratling disapears, when i release the pressure, it comes back again. This situation already occurred to you?
@ARC Garage thanks for your reply. My Giulietta QV Launch Edition has the factory 18's, and wheel options are extremely limited here in Australia. The offset on your car appears to fill out the front and rear guards very nicely. Could you maybe do a video on your wheel and tyre option. Great channel. Thanks again for your reply and uploads.
Pokusao sam neki dan ali me strah da cu izlomiti nesto..

Glad to hear you found the source. I agree, they could've done better on the interior

Air filter hose? What air filter do you mean? I have a big rattle in right hand front door too and can't find it. Thanks for your help!

That's a good idea, never tried it. I've used several things, and foam worked best for me

Hi! Have you ever experienced rattling noise coming from the airbag cover on the dashboard on the right hand side (Alfa Romeo 147)? Grazie
Yes, the problem is usually in the cover
@@arcgarage near the airbag itself you mean... Maybe I'll buy two new clips for the cover and try to take a look behind it. Thanks
Do you have any advice for the Alfa Romeo MiTo? Uhm.. idk where this noises come out… not every time but… idk i don’t understand why.. (1.3 JTDm 2011)
Test it out, as you could've seen in the video, and you'll be able to tell where it's coming from
