Man i've been waiting forever for this solution the moment you showed this i waxed all my car door rubbers got damn i was sure all my door panels were shit quality
put some of the product on the very top line of your doors and it’ll be much better. The sound is coming from the friction between the very top part of your door that feels like velvet material. I didn’t have the product that was made for these but I put on some cheap hand creams and it is gone until some peeling of interior lighting mods. I put on some hand cream back after that and the sound was gone again. However mine was 18 model year which was making much less noice and much newer. Give it a try before doing the tape thing if you don’t want to stick things to your door. Hope it’ll fix!
I just need to take a quick second and give the biggest thank you to @230am. THIS MADE THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE!! It went from like 50% better, to 98% better by applying it where he said. Always happy to learn from you guys from your feedback 🙏🏻
It’s a HUGE difference. Easily the best $15 bucks spent on the car. Thanks again. I even updated the info description with your input and and to give ya credit 👍🏼
@@vada.6024 It's hard to tell. It really depends on the weather and probably the humidity. It wasn't always happening. I'd say the lubrication is about 80% effective. Maybe I just need to do it more often, especially after really dry weather. I keep my car in a heated garage, and in winter, the humidity drops to 10%
Thanks for sharing. Best thing I ever used quite a few years ago, was a product called Carbaflo KSP 105, you can still get it in liquid form but used to get it in a small aerosol, that stuff was amazing. With the aerosol I sprayed it into some creaking parts on the dash, steering column etc. in addition to the door seals, it made my old E39 silent.
I have the same issue with my 10th gen Honda Accord. Sounded super silent when I first bought it, now 3 months in it is sounding just like yours. I think part of the problem has to do with passengers slamming your doors.
Ok I have a bmw e39 530 diesel m sport here in Ireland for 17 years now and sprayed all door rubbers and door panel clips with a common silicone spray that can be bought in almost any car auto shop and I have had no kreaking squeaky noises since and that was 17 years back so try that stuff, 😮
BMW X3 - 2019 - The drivers door next to me is driving me insane, the panel needs to come off to see what's causing this constant 'clicking' noise every time i go over slightly uneven road...when the window is DOWN, it goes away and is silent....but here in the UK it's always pissing down, so keeping the window up is not an option!...anyone had same problem?
Silicone grease for rubber and high temperature grease for tracks and hinges I removed my glass and cleaned it up be careful what you use as some grease eats the rubber
Quality of German cars has declined horribly in last two, maybe three decades. They drive better but reliability and quality control has dropped significantly. I just bought Mercedes and all the mechanical failure and all squeacking noises on relatively low mileage and age is staggering. I have been driving old Hyundai and old Subaru before that but had no mechanical failure or that plastic squeaking problems with much more mileage and age.
i used a prodoct like this sonax for the car's door rubber and it was much worst than before! now i used a baby powder and wait that will absorb it! but the way i selled my 2 years old bmw 320xdrive m sport packet for this annoyng problem and a lot of others i cant take no more, buy it 58600 euro and selled after 3 years because after 2 i bouth another car and it sit there waiting for selling, 14000 never more bmw no quality at all! even the roof was falling down and in bmw they said is pretty normal, the differenzial broke on me at 10thousand kms and at 120 again and a lot of problem for change it with warranty with a brand new car, the botton on the stearing wheel broke too and they just recognized me 70 for cento of the cost of the new part, professional navigation sistem 4200euro the very expensive the most expensive that they have and it was really shit, problem with radio ect ect! never more!
sell the car, it is a scam that they keep selling cars with lots of creaks because of the lame cheap plastics/materials manufactures have decided to use.
Finally I found a person who gets equally annoyed by these little creaks. Loved your work. ❤

Hi, sorry to bother you but did you made a new test ride video after applying this fix too? BR,
I have these creaks on my '23 G05, started recently. I don't have them on my old '08 E92 :) Will try to lubricate
Did it help?

The wife slams the damn door like she's mad at it
She needs a good slamming I mean the door lol ok use silicone spray it stops creaking on the doors , spray it around the door seals
Any ideas for addressing creak in ceiling? Not sure if it's in light panel or the sunroof. Driving me crazy!!!!
Clean an lube rubbers on the sunroof
Take a auto stethoscope and pinpoint

Good to see another video. Nice review 🤟
I have this issue more with my X1 than my F82. Seems to be around the moonroof the most - it’s horrible
Ahhh, haven’t noticed this on the X1… yet. I’ll have to keep an ear out for it 👍🏼
GF helps, but you really need to get the dealer tape fix - most dealers are well versed in applying it now and it’s easily done yourself if needs be…
how much do dealers charge to have this done?
It's a tiny bit better but I prefer the polyethylene tape fix, gets rid of the squeaks completely. Just a little bit more effort to do
Yeah, I hear positive things on the tape. Think this is still nice for the protection and conditioning. Perhaps doing both is the ultimate solution 👍🏼
Please give some details or purchase link about the polyethylene tape fix
It's the interior door moulding tape you get it from home Depot or Menards or Lowe's @@sachinkhoria556
hate to give it to you but thats more than what my e46 m3 does. The e90 m3 I have is rock solid. choice of material maybe?
A wd40 silicone will do it as well, worth a try if your stuff ran out
Nice, good to know! 👍🏼
could this work in very thin areas?
I had a rattling noise on RPM above 2000. It was a Disa Valve issue.

Take an auto stethoscope and pinpoint the exact source.
If you haven't tried already I had some annoying sounds and I used Liquy Molly silicone spray, I will spray on the trim gap and let soak and sink in
Cool! That’s good to know! 👍🏼
My golf 7.5 silent my other vw tdi door noise fitted thin strip in rubber dead silent
could you explain what you did please?
Got the same issue with my f82 m4. Any solid fix?
Can you do a update video with the recommendation fix you did
I have the same problem with my Copra Formentor.. Has anyone found a solution for it?
The top seals are felt and rubber. They get dirty and dry and make a lot of noise
my 340i has the same issue, but when i lower the window, the squeaking noise will be gone
My e class has same but very little on the passenger side
Any ideas on the squeaking coming from the sunroof in the X1?

The creaking noises really piss me off! Cheap ass BMWs… help!!! Driving me crazy!!!
This definitely helps mute them a bit👍🏼
Sounds less. I have gummyfledge, gonna reapply it!
I think in the future you could have a passenger take an automotive stethoscope and pinpoint exactly where the creaks are coming from.
