    One of the best car's in the VAG group. My company got a leon FR and I immediately went out and bought the 2019 Cupra ST 4drive. Interior controls and infotainment all just make sense. it's the perfect layout. Fun to drive as well.

    I never expected to love mine so much, mine is the later 290. I’ve just extended my lease to 4 years, it’s not mapped but on a roll next to my brothers 7.5 r the cupra takes it every time (in the dry),ps4s’s really made the car much much better in the wet. The standard contis just couldn’t cope with the power. Great review really enjoyed it so just subbed . Cheers

      I owned a Cupra 300 and drove 130 miles to Bangor in wales and used less than a quarter of a tank of fuel….. superb on fuel but if you put your foot down then you will see the mpg drop massively….. it is hard not to put your foot down in these cars😂

      @jvm4359 Месяц назад

      @@Bobbajobb956can you give me a short reference how fast it goes down? I had a Golf 7.5R for the weekend and I was driving my normal style on the Autobahn and I averaged around 7.7L/100km on a 89 km/h average but at night when the Autobahn was free my average was at around 13.5-14l. Is it the same with the Cupra or is it less?

    Much better value than VW or Audi. I picked one of these up from Dorset couple of years ago, nearly new. I was working for a prestige dealer at the time. Anyway, had to detour via middle of Wales to head north, it was dark and snowing. I actually thought it had AWD at the time by the way it gripped. Even my passenger asked is it AWD and I remember saying yes, thank f..k in this weather. For a FWD car with this power, im very impressed. Im after a good solid daily driver with plenty power and auto box and for £20k or less can get a one owner example with low miles. Absolute bargain.

    I have a 69 plate 290 (GPF model). Stage 1 map with intake/eblow joint at 388ps which makes it insane.
    Be prepared to use a lot of rubber tough and setting off from the lights requires some finesse.
    I found the comfort mode better than my FR model I had. I dont use Cupra, fake sound is annoying and ride is not for road use lol.

    • @ParagonCarsLondon
      @ParagonCarsLondon  2 года назад +1

      individual is the way to go, i use everything in full attack apart from the engine, which i leave in sport

    • @JP_RS6
      @JP_RS6 2 года назад +1

      @@ParagonCarsLondon Yeah I use Individial. Comfort on suspension/steering for my daily commute and the engine in sport, flicking the gearbox between normal and sport as and when I need it.
      My drive home however is full sport mode as I purposefully drive around country lanes for fun lol.
      I get 41mpg on the morning and more like 26 on the way home lol. Averages out at 32ish but thats my choice, I need that fake sound taken out next time I get the ECU looked at, same goes for rev limiter.
      I found however the car got louder the more i drove it, ive done 17k in the 14 months I've owned it and I dont think I need the res delete, will probably still get it lol.
      Couldnt agree more with everything you said in the video. Ive surprised a lot of cars with more power with just how quick this car is on the roll, the PS4S tyres really help it dig its heels in.
      Launching it isnt its strong point as youd expect.... lol

    • @autozoomies
      @autozoomies 2 года назад +1

      get obd11 and disable the sound actuator (fake noise), ps4s and dogbone mount fixes alot of the traction issues (wheel hop), mines a 300 ( non gpf) with a custom 3" catback non res, its valved, which i can open/close on button press, theres some shorts on my account with sound

    • @JP_RS6
      @JP_RS6 2 года назад +1

      @@autozoomies yeah already been through 2 PS4S tyres, got 16k miles out of them lol.
      Knew about the dogbone mount but heard that it causes some vibration / noise at idle so havent jumoed for it yet as I commute 32 miles a day.
      Almost out of the 3 year warrenty so when it comes I will be changing intake & elbow, turbo muffler, intercooler and scorpion de-res 76mm cat back exhaust coupled with a custom stage 1 ECU map to take all fo that into account, dogbone mounts will probably be added at this point.
      Been saving up for it since I bought the car lol.
