As a biker in a less than civilized city, I must say most people tend to overreact in these clips. Mistakes happen and we have to deal with them the best way possible. Does that mean that it isn't scary? No. It is scary and dangerous. But remain calm is the best way to go. Curse to the winds and move on. Don't fuel that fire and rage after someboy cuts you off. I'm from Rio de Janeiro, btw. A city with 7 million people and 2 million vehicles.

He blew through the next red light and I was thinking about calling the cops to report him since I saw he had a kid probably around 12 years old in the passenger seat. To my surprise, he hooked a hard turn and pulled into the emergency entrance to the local children’s hospital. It was a moment of perspective shift that has stuck with me for years. You never know what people are going through or what they’re driving for. While most of the time it’s just them being idiots, sometimes it’s a dad trying to save his son’s life. Just something to think about next time you get cut off or get passed on the shoulder.

I actually have some experience riding and I wonder what's going through these bikers minds sometimes. It's always made out to be the other drivers fault and I know their camera lenses affect the perception of the distance but some of these bikers go flying around blind corners at high speed on the smallest possible vehicle on the road and act like the other driver is at fault for just trying to pull out or ride in a persons blind spot and get upset when they start drifting over into your lane. It's kind of hard to be pissed at somebody trying to pull out when a biker is going 20-30 over the limit and know they're hard to see.

Innit mate, most of these incidents are a case of roll off the throttle and roll your eyes at the ignorant cager. I ride with this in mind: They cant see you and even if they could see you they would want to hit you.

The thing is, if you are a good rider and you anticipate problems, then the videos are not very exciting. There is no conflict. So we don't tend to see those videos.

I actually have some experience riding and I wonder what's going through these bikers minds sometimes. It's always made out to be the other drivers fault and I know their camera lenses affect the perception of the distance but some of these bikers go flying around blind corners at high speed on the smallest possible vehicle on the road and act like the other driver is at fault for just trying to pull out or ride in a persons blind spot and get upset when they start drifting over into your lane. It's kind of hard to be pissed at somebody trying to pull out when a biker is going 20-30 over the limit and know they're hard to see.

9:43 this is hilariously ironic, for everyone that doesn't understand what is happening here. for some reason, and ive yet to see this happen in any other state, but in PA cars will inherently go around other cars when turning. meaning driving on the shoulder or if the road is large enough sharing one lane, where one side is for turning and one side is for driving. it actually works, and really quite well, as traffic is kept moving even when someone is turning left on a 2 lane road. it is actually inherently possible that the old gentleman in the car doesn't even know what he did wrong and is actually upset at the biker for not abiding by this unwritten rule of the roads in PA
